Stephanie and Steve were so welcoming and I immediately felt welcome in their lovely home, they even ordered me groceries for my stay! Benji and Kimba were a dream to look after and no trouble whatsoever, just such sweet little dogs. If you get the chance to do this sit, I thoroughly recommend it. Harwell is a lovely little English village with lots of nice walks for the dogs, but just a short distance from busier Didcot and Oxford isn't too far away.
Scrappy and Milo were a delight to look after. Very placid dogs.I was only at Deborah's for a short time but really enjoyed my stay. There are lots of green spaces to take the dogs. Totnes is lovely with all of its quirky shops, which were just around the corner from the house. Definitely recommend this sit. Thank you Deborah.
Heidi and Dave were exceptional in their friendliness and providing us all the information to both take care of their two dogs and 12 chickens as well as feel welcomed by their friendly community. Merlin, a 110 pound German shepherd, and Tsuga, the rescue dog, were equally well-trained and a pleasure to hang out with. In fact, I began calling them "my new best friends." Their house was very comfortable with gorgeous interior redwood milled onsite from their second-growth trees on their five-acre parcel. Their garden, diverse beautiful plants and abundance of birds, notably hummingbirds and band-tailed pigeon, created a retreat feelings. Its location was a very close walk to the local Sunday Market, which while small reflected a tight-knit but welcoming community. Their proximity to the rugged Sonoma coast, especially Salt Point State Park, provided easy access to a variety of trails to and along the ocean. Overall, if you seek quiet beauty, Heidi's place is as good as you could hope for.
I had a wonderful stay with Enzo! Laurie and Enzo are both super friendly and easy going. Laurie made me feel very welcome and her home feels like an artist's retreat. Enzo is a joy to be with - very happy, sweet, and well behaved. I would definitely recommend this sit!
Danielle and Bailey are the sweetest duo you'll ever meet! Danielle was communicative and responsive with commands and directions for Bailey. It was also a nice surprise to learn that Danielle and I share the same alma mater. Bailey is smart and wise so she takes time to warm up to someone new. She's mild-mannered, sensitive, and attentive to your personality and habits. Cuddling on the sofa, belly rubs, and her enthusiastic greetings whenever I returned from an outing were some of my best memories with her. Danielle's building is equipped with a private outdoor seating area, complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby, a fitness room, a 5th floor terrace, a firepit in the courtyard, and she also has a balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee/tea. The Metro is 5 min. away, and the Old Town Alexandria Waterfront is also within walking distance. I enjoyed my time here and you will too!
I had a pleasant experience taking care of Bonnie and Clyde! They are super easy to handle and love being outside or come to you and ask for some pets, particularly Clyde! Andrew was straightforward with the information about his house + what I needed to do. He was kind and polite and made sure I was comfortable to do my job. And he replied to my messages promptly. Andrew's house is 10/15 min away from the city centre yet there are many shops and stores nearby. If you work online, this is a great place since the WiFi is strong. You have everything you need for your stay in terms of appliances + information. I had a great time! Thank you Andrew for choosing me and trusting me with Bonnie and Clyde. They're adorable!
