If you know what I mean! 🏰 💫 Step out of the house - some hundred yards away and you find yourself in a sort of magic garden / forest….! 🦌🌳Fairy tales exist, yes they do! ⭐️ The motto: „If you see the wonders - of a fairy tale… you can take the future…“ And I found the proof. So: One of the best sits I ever had! Grace - the cat in charge - or rather: queen 👑 of the castle - is a proud and definitely royal creature, anyways easy going at the same time since she is retired now 😌. Even if she was a bit shy the first days she knew very well how to let me know when it’s time for her cuddles on the sofa (once the owners left) - which is obviously her routine! You know: cats don’t serve you - you serve cats!!! It was such a blessing to observe her wandering around the beautiful garden 💐. The house is stunning and the owners as well! David and Marilyn invited me to stay with them at the beginning due to some delays they were not responsible for - instead of running into a highly complicated procedure, getting a hotel, travel issues, and begging for a refund of THS etc. (I had the case already and it was not fun t.b.h. - so we all tried to avoid it). I was very blessed they proposed it, it facilitated everything and felt honoured by their gesture which was full of hospitality. And it turned out to be an amazing experience! 🌸 I am so glad I met this wonderful lovely couple! 💝 Bless them, Grace, the birds, the house and (old) Windsor 💫👑 Nothing I could think of which could be improved. Definitely 5 stars - or let’s rather say: 10 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you so much, I will never forget it.
Two of the sweetest kitties I've ever met! Cuddly, chill, easy to hang out with. A total pleasure. Kat was great to communicate with. The house is lovely! Comfortable and welcoming. It's in a nice neighborhood. Easy to get around and close to Bishops Arts for restaurants and shopping.
I had a very nice time at Christiane's home. Christiane is a very lovely person. On the day of my arrival I was warmly welcomed by Christiane and I immediately felt at ease. Christiane's personal briefing was clear and contained everything I needed to know. The two cats, Bobby and Charlie, accepted me straight away. As the days went by, we got to know each other and our trust grew. Christiane lives in a very cool housing estate just a few stops away from Cologne city centre on the S-Bahn. If the set or Gillmore Girls were Coastal, Atlantic Highlands may have been chosen as the backdrop. The whole town knows and loves Lucy and Lola. Atlantic Highlands is like a secret gem filled with families and small businesses. Yet only a short drive away is the hustle and bustle of tourists in both Sandy Hook and Manhattan. This sit will be ideal for able-bodied sitter/s as both the elevation of the neighborhood and the 1800 year old home require a lot of joint mobility. This home is full of love with three sweet girls. Lola, the guard dog, supervises the front porch and lets every person and dog that walks by know that she takes her job seriously. Yet, meeting those same people and dogs on the street or beach and she greets them with tail wagging and eye contact that says "please pet me" Lucy is a sweet albino boxer and 100% deaf. Yet, she is somehow the best listener in the house, lol. The eye contact and facial expressions this dog gives are unreal. You know what she wants, and you can tell she knows what you want Chicka is the typical cat. She initially wants nothing to do with you, warms up when she realizes food comes from you, then she demands all your attention from time to time, but mostly when you are trying to get something done. Good thing she's super cute because we gave in everytime. Both dogs enjoy time off leash at the beach.You will never wonder where Lil' Velcro Lucy is. Lucy will romp through the water endlessly chasing a stick. And Lola can be seen faintly from time to time rummaging through the short reeds with her little tail wagging back and forth. The hardest part of this sit is mealtime. Lucy is food motivated with lots of food allergies, and Lola could care less about food and has no allergies. We found it easiest to feed them both the same thing in a smaller portion in case Lola did not eat because Lucy will happily go back for seconds. This sit also has some daily care needs for a beautiful outdoor garden (@ 15-30 min) and an easy peasy indoor fish tank. Juliane and her family were six hours ahead of NJ. We had a face to face hand off on departure day for important visual details and communicated daily via What's AP for any issues. These pets, this family and this location are ideal! Apply right away, because if we see it first, we would 100% go back. As a matter of fact, we are already planning to.
We had the most wonderful stay at Mandy’s. We didn’t get to meet Mandy due to Covid, but her communication was excellent, as was her daughters’ Mehera. We had the privilege of being greeted by the gorgeous Benny. He is honestly the most sweetest, well behaved and easy going dog, he stole our hearts. We also met the cutest cat, Mena. She’s easy going and low maintenance, loves her food. The house is charming, cute and cosy, with a lovely garden and friendly neighbourhood. Plenty of walks nearby. We definitely recommend this sit to anyone and look forward to hopefully returning soon.
Lucca was the cutest boy! He warmed up to me after about a day and loved following me around the house. We had a lovely time on all of our walks, and Fredda’s home was so clean and cozy. Highly recommend housesitting here and hanging out with Lucca!
