It was a pleasure to have Mare and her husband Gerry look after our place and Zipper! They were communicative, kind, and altogether lovely from the very first Zoom introductory meeting through dropping off the keys after the housesit. During our trip, Mare sent at least twice daily photos and texts to update on Zipper's adventures. We arrived home to a spotless house, wonderful baked treats, and a happy well-adjusted cat. In all aspects, it was a wonderful experience and privilege to have Mare and Gerry to stay in our home. Their care and consideration allowed us to fully enjoy our trip, knowing all was well. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.
Micheal was wonderful. There was a huge storm for a few days and my house lost electricity. He stuck around and took care of Cleo anyway, even thought I told him he could take a break during the day if he needed to. When I returned, my sheets were clean and the house looked awesome. He sent me videos of Cleo every day. Cleo was in good shape - not unhappy or stressed as she sometimes get when I leave. I recommend Micheal and will probably invite him to be with Cleo the next time I have to be away.
Farhan was very easy to work with. He took my puppy Nemo all around Austin and even took pictures and videos along the way. When I came home, everything was spic and span as well! I highly recommend him as a sitter and I hope he can come back to watch Nemo soon.
