I've just finished a sit for Ruth looking after the very charming Seb, and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Ruth was so welcoming and friendly and we chatted before my arrival so I felt very comfortable. The house is beautiful with a mature garden and everything you could need for a pleasant stay. The best bit, of course, was getting to know Seb, an energetic, playful and affectionate young chihuahua. I had a really lovely week and I'd go back any time!
Jennifer was easy to communicate with and very welcoming! I really enjoyed reading by the fire with Bella cuddled at my feet and snuggling with the kitties on the couch downstairs.
Oh what a wonderful time we had looking after Tabby here. She was so lovely and smoochy. We loved using the bikes on the cycleway near the river Saone and dinner at the local guinguette was indeed lovely. Watering the garden was no chore and we were rewarded with plenty of tomatoes. We went to various markets in the area that Jane and Richard had told us about and visited several small towns including Chagny, Beaune and of course Chalon. We'd had a lovely introduction night with them both and heard about their wonderful travels - such lovely hosts. We were really made to feel at home and as if we've made some friends. Thank you.
This was my first time sitting through this website, and Anastasia could not have made it a better first experience — she was very thoughtful in her suggestions and a pleasure to communicate with. The super cuddly Boris was an absolute joy and breeze to care for. It was less fun to say goodbye to him after our few weeks together, but I’m very glad I got to share this lovely apartment with him while I did. I would definitely sit for them again! :)
I was so fortunate to be able to care for the sweet Gracie and Nitten in Anna's lovely little home. Anna was extremely communicative, helpful, and her thoughtful little treats and note made me feel extra special to be there. The house was incredibly clean, tidy, comfortable and super easy to care for and the neighborhood was fun for my daily walks. Downtown is just a short jog away and I hardly used my car the entire time I was there. The kitties were adorable, sweet, and so easy to take care of and I fell in love with both of them (I mean, how could you not!) Nitten is quieter and shyer, preferring to sit on her own, while Gracie loved playing lapcat. I loved this sit and would absolutely do it again! Thank you so very much, Anna for sharing your home and kits with me!
Loved my sit at Suvara's! She is a lovely person, and her pets are just as sweet as she is! Her home is very comfortable and the neighborhood and big yard are great places for walks and enjoying the outdoors. Being located right in Weaverville, you're close to restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and everything you could need. Lola and the kitties were great companions, I miss them already! I would happily return for another house sitting opportunity in the future.
