I had Katie and her son for a sit recently and really enjoyed having them as guests. We recently had the pleasure of pet sitting for Dorothy, and it was an absolutely lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and appreciated. Dorothy provided clear instructions and all the necessary supplies, making our job much easier. Her home was warm and inviting, and it was evident how much she cares for her dogs. The property itself is beautiful, offering a serene and picturesque environment that made our stay even more enjoyable. Dorothy generously invited us to arrive a day early so we could familiarize ourselves with the routine and the property. The dogs were an absolute joy to care for. Baxter, Lexi and Pippi quickly warmed up to us, and we had a fantastic time together. Whether it was playing in the field, going for walks, or simply cuddling on the couch, each moment was filled with joy and affection. The dogs are well-behaved, loving, and full of their own personalities, making our time with them truly enjoyable. Although not part of our sit responsibilities, there are four beautiful horses on property. We loved getting to know them as well. They were well cared for during our stay by their regular handler who we came to know and share worthy conversation and gain recommendations for things to do around the area. One of the highlights of our stay was the ease of access to nearby trails and hiking spots. The area is perfect for outdoor experiences of all kinds very close to the property. The days flew by because this added an extra bonus! Additionally, the proximity to Asheville, NC, and the charming smaller towns of Saluda, Hendersonville, and Tryon was great. These areas are rich with restaurants, wineries, and art galleries, offering plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy local culture. We also appreciated the regular communication with Dorothy, who checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly. Her thoughtfulness and consideration made the entire experience seamless and pleasant. We would be thrilled to pet sit for Dorothy and her delightful dogs again in the future. Thank you for trusting us with your furry family members!
