We truly enjoyed our stay at Richard and Mary Ann's lovely place. The house is a real warm family home. I made good use of the fully equipped kitchen where I could prepare our meals assisted by Willow. The garden is beautiful! The bee friendly flowers were in full bloom, also there is a vegetable garden and a pond with water lilies. It's such a magical, peaceful place, visited by lot's of birds.
Willow is a kind, gentle soul. She loves nothing better than sunbathing in the garden and being nearby. She doesn't require long walks anymore but dutifully strolls along for a bit of exercise. She is very easygoing and loving.
Phoebe is a lovely character too, independent how a cat should be. She was a bit suspicious at first, thinking "what are these strangers doing in my home?" but we gained her trust very quickly. She was completely warmed to my husband and they were enjoying morning coffee together in the garden.
We really appreciated the lovely touches, like fresh scented flowers in our room and delicious quiche for lunch etc. Thank you very much for everything! We can't wait to come back again at the end of August.

I do NOT recommend. The dog bites.

The homeowners were welcoming and the house was lovely. My husband and I both visited before the owners left to meet Layla, but after the family left the dog became unpredictable and aggressive. My husband didn’t stay at the house because Layla kept growling at him. So I attempted to finish the sit alone, but Layla bit me on the back of my calf on day two. I have years of experience living with large breeds, but I’m not sure what set her off.

After the bite I contacted the host. He immediately called a neighbor that was able to put the dog in the yard, with the help of a choke chain, long enough for me to collect my belongings. I sought medical attention. No stitches but I did need a bandage and antibiotics. Homeowners have offered to cover all my medical expenses.

Thank you to Janet & family for such a great experience!

I had heaps of fun cat-sitting Harper in Calgary. It was so enjoyable to spend time with such an easygoing, sweet & spunky cat. I'd hangout with Harper again any day!

The Tuscany neighbourhood is beautiful as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find numerous trails a walkable distance from the house; as well as an awesome dog park nearby. The home itself is beautiful & clean, with all the amenities one could need!

As a host, Janet is very kind, reliable, and reasonable. Janet & her family were truly lovely to communicate & coordinate with throughout the sit. It was a pleasure!

I'd highly recommend this pet sit to others. :)

We had such a great time housesitting for Jasper and Maisie! We loved all of the footpaths behind the house. Your home is super comfortable, and we enjoyed the Roald Dahl museum and Oxford. Thanks!

Jessica & Travis
After a beautiful stormy start - literally! The prairie skies gave us a show on the first night while Jessica and Travis were showing me around. Speaking of which, Jessica gave me great and honest advice on working with her horses. The big dogs are loves! Outside & inside cats have their individual quirks which I enjoyed immensely. Come here! Be a SK farm girl for a week or two - it’s good for you. Regina is a well stocked easy to get around city but the real reason you come here is to be in the small towns of the area. Locals are always ready for a bit of a chat. Oh, last but not least - great kitchen and comfy couches.

This was my first sit and it went very smooth. I enjoyed hanging out with Simba and Chewie. As the days went by, they became more vocal and open. Simba and I hung out a lot. He demanded pets which I gladly gave. Chewie on the other hand was not as social and is definitely a swatter if you get to close lol but still enjoyable to be around. Matalie communicated well and left great instructions.
