Malia and Piers are very nice and chilled. They made us feel comfortable in their flat, and the communication was great. Clara and Joan are both great, supercute, and low maintenance. Clara is super cuddly, loves to hide under the blankets with us. Joan asks for cuddles all the time. She's very sociable regarding a cat's behavior. Definitely recommended!
I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Aramaçaeo with Pepé, Lola and Mia. The apartment was in an ideal location, right across the road from the beach, with beautiful cliff walks, which I took full advantage of while walking Pepe and Lola. Pepé can walk for miles without tiring! Whereas wee Lola just needed shorter walks regularly. I particularly fell in love with the beautiful Mia (one of the cuddliest cats I have had the privilege to meet. Ivan kept in touch leading up to the sit and they were kind enough to pick me up from the airport and find a hotel for me nearby, before I met the furry family members. Lola is a wee cuddly bear who loves to sit and snuggle up, next to you on the sofa and Pepe would perch himself on my knee whenever I sat down. The animals are cuddly and friendly, and took well to my family when they came to visit. I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Aramaçaeo it is a beautiful place with so many gorgeous beaches and places to eat. Thank you Cata and Ivan for a wonderful month in the sun with your furry family members 💖
I had the pleasure of staying at Marieka and Marshall's lovely home with Paloma and Gatsby. Marieka gave me a tour and answered any questions I had before the family departed. She also left a thorough set of instructions and was responsive/supportive while away. The house is beautiful and well-equipped in a great location. (Walking distance to cafes, restaurants, etc.) As a solo traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable. Paloma and Gatsby were super sweet and well-behaved co-hosts. Paloma and I went on lots of walks through the neighborhoods and to the nearby park along the river. We also loved sitting on the front porch when a bit of sun passed through. Gatsby was a little more elusive during the day but liked to sneak onto the bed at night. I also spent a few hours hiking out at Smith Rock one day and both pets were great while I was gone. Highly recommend this experience and would love to come sit again!
We feel so lucky we got to housesit for Dawn and Mike! They are wonderful hosts: they made sure we enjoyed our time in Wanaka, left us a spotless clean house, and even let us use their e-bikes. They’re very fun and easy-going, and we enjoyed hanging out with them during the handovers. Their doggies are the cutest, funniest creatures to be around! It was hilarious to share screen time with Arthur, while Primrose was always up for snuggles and belly rubs. Having such a beautiful house with a mountain view plus the two friendliest companions made us hardly want to leave. But on the occasions that we did, we loved the area: so many beautiful hikes and bike trails, beaches and scenic drives to explore. Arthur and Primrose would always give us a warm greeting upon return and fill the evening with cuteness and laughs. We’re so happy we got to meet them and share a couple of weeks together in magical Wanaka. We will be missing these two for sure. Thank you!
I loved sitting for this family and absolutely loved Austin! Jane is super thorough and answers any questions that may come up during your sit quickly. The pups were adorable and very active. There is a nice backyard for them to run around in which made things super easy… it was so pleasant, made me think a little more seriously about moving to Austin!
Nellie is such a great pup and I loved my time staying at Samantha’s apartment :)
