We had a fabulous time in Dartmouth looking after Jonathan and Melanie's Victorian home and sweet cat Bella. Having met up about a month ahead of the sit, we didn't take long to bond with Bella and she was eating out of our hand (literally) within a couple of hours. We had a thorough tour of the house and detailed instructions on Bella's care prior to Jonathan and Melanie heading off so everything went smoothly for the whole week. The house is well appointed with a terraced garden and driveway. The town centre is just 5 minutes walk away. Thank you both for the opportunity to housesit and we would happily return if you need someone and we're free in the future.
I had a lovely weekend with Zigby & Bongo. We went on some lovely walks and Ursula’s house is very comfortable and in a beautiful setting with fields around. It was lovely to meet Ursula and her lovely family and although I don’t have a car at the moment it wasn’t a problem as the trains were fine( thankfully no strikes!) I would highly recommend anyone to go and meet Zigby and Bongo I’m sure you will have a fab time. Thank you 😊
It was great meeting Bella and Gil in person. They are kind, friendly and extremely generous. They made me feel at home and very welcomed, waited for me at the train station and also cooked delicious meals. I can’t say enough good words about this sit. Was truly fantastic. Bella’s and Gil’s apartment is gorgeous and peaceful, in a safe gated community with a barbecue area, a big pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. The neighbourhood in an amazing location on the hill right next to the park and the beach is to die for. And Leo the dog is one of a kind. He is a majestic German Shepherd and the sweetest dog ever. He is so intelligent and sensitive, LOVES the beach and is laid-back. He enjoys human company, playing with his chewy toys and getting rewarded with a belly rub. But most of all he loves being free to run on the beach playing with sticks. It’s fun walking Leo around. He will stick his nose in the bushes and try to catch bugs in the grass. Thank you for everything and for entrusting me to watch sweet Leo as well as care for your home! A wonderful family. You won't be disappointed sitting for Bella, Gil and Leo!
This was an awesome stay I would highly recommend. Super ideal location in the city and Maddison is just the sweetest dog. Matt was great with communication and the whole stay was a smooth process!
I felt very welcome in Izabella's home, I met her and Bogdan days before I started taking care of him and she was very kind throughout my stay. Her home is very warm and Bogdan was a charm, it was a pleasure to take care of him, he was very affectionate, playful, and adorable. I would gladly take care of him again.
Niederkirchen is a wonderful place to stay with many great walks. There is lots of wildlife and even deer in the garden. Dawn made me very welcome in her wonderful home and looking after Zady was a pleasure. She is a friendly, loving and well behaved dog.
