We had an absolutely fabulous time staying at Sue and John's and looking after the adorable Fletch and Willow! When we first arrived the kitties were both a little wary, but very shortly Willow warmed right up to us and we had a stalwart lap cat companion. Fletch took a little longer, but once he knew us as his food source he was almost constantly in our sights - snoozing on the kitchen stools or meowing his way upstairs to join us in the evening. We felt very blessed to be trusted by these two. Purrs, meows and cuddles and headbutts were bestowed. Looking after them was very easy. Breakfast is a fun affair involving being woken with meows and/or headbutts. Dinner you do need to keep an eye on Fletch as he thinks his dinner is also Willow's, but we had no troubles. Sue and John have a fabulous garden and veggie patch which we did our best to maintain and watered as needed. It's a very relaxing house and area, so this was another highlight for us. We felt comfortable going exploring knowing Fletch and Willow were content at home. The area is fabulous and you don't want for anything - cafes, restaurants, historical things, the beach(!!) The house is also perfectly well kitted out and comfortable, we felt like a true home away from home during our stay. Communication with Sue and John was also really easy both leading up to and during the sit. Thank you both! We are grateful for this sit and happily recommend!
I had the most wonderful stay with Coco on Lewis. The house is stunning and in the perfect location just by a secluded beach. Coco is so easy to look after, she is a pleasure and her owners could not have been more welcoming and helpful. I cannot recommend this stay enough. I can’t wait to go back.
Had a great time looking after Mowgli. He’s a great cat- like most cats he takes a few days to warm up to you. However, once he does he comes to you for cuddles and strokes. Mowgli is an outdoor cat so he is pretty low maintenance. Josie left detailed notes and I was able to contact her easily if I had any questions. Her home is immaculate and really cozy. Would love to look after Mowgli again 😊
Julia’s house was a dream to sit with a fabulous cosy kitchen and a beautiful garden. The dogs are lovely and very straightforward to deal with and give the best hugs! Julia is a total delight and great company. We would definitely love to sit again and anyone lucky enough to be chosen to sit won’t be disappointed!!!
Such an amazing couple! They have the cutest little french bulldog that loves cuddles and playtime. Would most defiently recommend staying with Engine in their amazing apartment.
