Stephanie and Nathan are good people. They were kind and made me feel very welcomed into their home. It took a little bit for Taki to warm up to me, but once he did he showed me what a master cuddler he is. He would get pretty excited when he got close to another dog during a walk so I would just cross the street to avoid such encounters. Taki is smart, sensitive, and a joy to be with. The neighborhood was quieter than I expected, I felt safe, and my car was safe and sound in their garage. The weather was great when I was there so I walked to Golden Gate Park to do some exploring. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay. Thank you Stephanie and Nathan!
Staying at Eleris and Argyris was such a pleasure. They welcomed us with a detailed walk around the house which we really appreciated. They place is comfortable and comfy, near to public transport, shops and nice walks. Hobnob and Kitkat are easy and lovely to take care of, so we would definitely recommend this sit to future petsitters. Thanks Eleri and Argyris for this opportunity!
Kate was very accommodating and her wonderful dogs, Bodie and Missie, are well trained and companionable. Bodie is a gentle mature dog that loves petting and the wind in her fur. Missie is a young vibrant rescue dog that loves the river, running free and playing fetch. Minimal additional care for plants and feeding the lovely birds. Very quiet, scenic and spacious home located among sheep farmland with dog walks right out the door. Car is essential but not far to groceries etc. in nearby Kirkmichael or the sweet town of Blairgowrie.
We feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to sit for Albert and Negar! They made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Arlo and Bowie are the sweetest, most good-natured pair! They are excellent walking or lounging buddies, patient and playful with kids, affectionate, and well-behaved. Camille the cat is very independent, but she will warm up and bond with you. And Greeny is so fun to watch - we loved feeding her lettuce! In addition, Albert and Negar's home is beautiful: clean, comfortable, and spacious, in a nice quiet neighborhood. The garden is an oasis, the kitchen is wonderful for any cook, and there are many lovely spots to read, work, or relax. We also enjoyed challenging ourselves with some of their home workout equipment! Nearby there is a lot to explore: many nice hiking trails, beaches, museums, and shops/restaurants close by. We highly recommend taking this sit if you are lucky enough to get the chance, and would love to come back again.
We absolutely loved our two-week stay with the adorable Kaia. We felt so at home right away in Carmel and Bob's beautiful house and in the lovely village of Glassan. We took full advantage of the location to visit Athlone castle, as well as monastic sites and stately homes in the area. We also enjoyed great walks along the Greenway, at Lough Boora and in local forests. But the greatest joy of our stay by far was spending time with Kaia. She is the most affectionate creature - for example, every day started and ended with the best cuddles ever and she always welcomed us with great excitement any time we left her on her own for short periods. She was also a lot of fun with an insatiable appetite for games of tug-of-war. The bottom-line is that we fell in love with Kaia and really miss her.

We were going to visit my aunt in Wimberley for the weekend, and looking for a safe and loving place where we could board our dog, Lucie. I’m so happy we discovered River Dog Ranch! From the moment I spoke to Elisha over the phone, I immediately felt comfortable, and knew our baby would be in great hands with her. We cannot say enough about Elisha and her amazing staff! They are ALL so kind, caring, and warm! Lucie had a ball during her stay, and we were updated with videos and text messages. She has created a beautiful, safe, and comfortable sanctuary where the fur babies can safely play and explore. Lucie can’t wait to return and visit her new friends in Wimberley very soon! ❤️🐾

We are big fans of On Paws!!! We have been taking our dog here since she was a baby. Every time we pull into the driveway, Mom and Dad pretty much cease to exist, and she just wants to get to daycare as fast as possible. It’s very comforting to know our pup is well cared for and that she’s enjoying herself while we are out of town. We also know our kitties at home are well cared for when On Paws comes over. We also receive text updates while we are gone, which adds additional peace of mind and makes us smile. On paws saved me in a very urgent situation! Petsitter cancelled at 5pm the day before we were supposed to fly out. We were able to schedule a meet and greet early the following morning. Their service was unmatched while we were away. Pictures, notes, updates each and every visit left my anxious heart knowing our babies were in good hands!

Very pleased with the sitters who came to home to feed 2 cats and 1 dog while I was out of town. Cats are shy, just needed food put out for them a.m/p.m. Spent time to interact with dog playing ball outside and with his toys inside. Provided a little exercise and familiar activity for his sake. I had never been away since rescuing him. I was a "Nervous Nellie' over his anxiety with strangers and being left alone. They offered no difficulties, sent status reports after each visit, including some pics which was a wonderful reassurance! I would highly recommend their care and personal attention if anyone has a need in the future❣️

Love this place for my dog! I love the fact that they are out to play most of the day. The price is unbeatable. Especially for all that’s offered. Every interaction with the staff has been friendly and helpful. They keep good eyes on the dogs. I can tell because my dog was new and they knew him by name already and what he liked to do. My dog loves it here and never wants me to pick him up to go home LOL I was surprised people left one star reviews on this so when I went to read them, they seemed to be from people that didn’t understand how a doggy daycare operates. Ruff Ranch has made drop off and pickup super easy, hours are great, big & safe spaces for dogs to play and more than fair pricing. Highly recommend!

Ruff Ranch is an exceptional kennel. We have used them for short and prolonged stays and I can tell you without a doubt your animals will receive the love and care and personalized attention you give them at home. The staff is top notch. The setting is beautiful natural pasture land. They truly care about your fur babies and are kind, professional and thoughtful people. If I were a dog I'd want to stay there.
I have taken my dogs to Marcy for over 10 years. Marcy and her team are amazing. They always take great care of our dogs when we are traveling. They always come home super exhausted with all the playtime. I appreciate that they make it easy to drop off and pick up while traveling. Ruff Ranch is our dog's home away from home. Boarding here is great. Our dog gets ample (sometimes more than at home...) time to play outside and be social with other dogs. Most places that board offer play time as a small, costly extra service for boarding, At Ruff Ranch play time takes place the majority of the day. The staff take great care and are flexible with scheduling. Our dog is eager and excited to see the staff - I would assume because he is treated like he's one of their own. I'd highly recommend Ruff Ranch.
Over this summer we boarded 2 of our dogs here at ruff ranch for a week and when we picked up our dogs they were VERY SKINNY as if the were not fed AT ALL! Our dogs are over 80lb-100 lbs dogs and we could see their ribs when we brought them home! I don't recommend this place after speaking with a couple other friends who said the same happened to their love pups! If I could leave no stars I would but unfortunately I have to put 1 start to share my terrible experience with others!
Boarded our two dogs for 5 nights last week so we could have a trip to the coast. It is obvious that they were very well cared for and had lots of fun ! knowing the dogs get to spend plenty of time outside in the dirt and yelling at squirrels is a huge priority for us. Both dogs were cleaned up and smelled fresh when we picked them up . We will absolutely be using Ruff Ranch again for daycare or boarding when we need it !
Ruff Ranch is amazing! I've been bringing my dog Luna here for about 6 month now, she has totally come out of her shell and is so much more happy than she's ever been! The staff is cool and I feel great knowing my dog is in good hands and is having fun! Defiantly recommend.
My Buddy’s pet resort was the perfect choice for our pups stay over the holiday week!! As someone who has worked in dog boarding before, I have a long list of things I look for in a facility, and Buddys checked every box!! The kennel set up stands out to me the most, where dogs have an indoor / outdoor area all to themselves that they can access 24/7 as they please! Besides the amazing amenities, I felt as though my senior dog and 8 month old puppy were well attended too and cared for. I had nothing but great experiences with staff, and received picture updates every other day (which was AMAZING)
My dog Milo has been at my buddy's pet resort for the past couple of months, and he absolutely loves it. He enjoys going to daycare, swimming in the pool, and playing with the other dogs. Milo was also well taken care of while I left him there for boarding. The staff is nice and friendly and always gives him great nail trims. 10/10 Recommend.
What a fantastic experience for our pup! We needed a place for “daycare” while we were visiting from out of town. Booking was easy and professional; everyone was responsive in a timely manner. I can’t say enough good things about My Buddy’s Pet Resort! I’ve been taking my two dogs there for about a year, whether for daycare or a stay. I love the pictures they send because my dogs always look so happy. Every time I turn down the road to drop them off, they can barely contain their excitement because they love this place so much.
We have used mybuddypet resort for multiple stays with our boxer. Never had any issues. They send you pictures to update you and if there is a problem they call right away. My boxer is super allergic to all things outside and they call us everytime to let us know that they are seeing signs of irritation. They don’t have to update us because we know it’s most likely going to happen but knowing that they care enough to keep us updated means everything. Staff is very friendly.
I will never leave my dogs here again!! When I picked up my dog he was scared and didn’t recognize me till I went up to him. He’s still a puppy so he’s hyper and playful since I picked him up he hasn’t wanted to play, and his tail is injured. My thoughts my dog was abused!!

Love this place for my three dogs. They get to stay together and the Bunkhouse is like a Penthouse suite for them!! The communicate well providing email confirmations and reminders. They even offer spa treatments like nail trims, etc.
I needed someone to watch my small dog a few hours while we floated the river. The staff was amazing and all had great attitudes, unlike other places around town when I inquired. I give this place 10 stars because they truly care about service! I will be back:)
We have taken our fur baby here numerous times this year as we have had unexpected travel. I am very impressed with the kitty condo's here. 3 levels of exploration for my little one. Staff is super friendly and Obi is well taken care of. Would highly recommend . Update: We have been using Country Cottage Pet Resort for our little guy for about a year now. I am still very pleased with how great the staff is at this facility. We are always greeted with a warm smile and our Obi seems content. This place gives me such a great peace of mind when I need to travel.
Excellent accommodations and wonderful staff took amazing care of my 3dogs. I had never boarded them anywhere before, and it was harder on me than it was on them! It’s a calm, clean, and low stress environment, and a caring, thoughtful staff. Highly recommend Country Cottage!

Went away for 7 days. The country cottage was friendly, easy, and took great care of my two cat roommates. I am very picky about who and where I leave the cats. The country cottage stood out to me because of the large cat enclosures and family owned vibe. Also they had fair prices and the booking process was seamless. I know where to leave the gatos on my next trip.
I loved this place and I believe my dog Coffee did too! It is so cute and very home like environment, not a scary horrible kennel. Staff is friendly. We visited 3-years ago. We visited the area from North Carolina and my dog Coffee stayed here for about 2 days. Once I got him home he must have picked up a new habit from the other dogs here... after he did potty he started kicking his feet it was the cutest thing ever he has never done that before in 8 years! And now he still does it 3 years later!!!
We chose this boarding facility due to its convenient location, pickup/dropoff times and good reviews. However, ours dogs experiences were very poor and I’m afraid that they suffered during their two night stay. We picked up our dogs quickly on the lobby on Sunday (we don’t loiter in lobbies as our dogs are not dog-friendly and we don’t want to start a commotion.) When we arrived home we immediately noticed several injuries on our dogs. One dog had a small cut on his paw and was limping. The other dog was missing her entire dew claw (the whole quick is exposed) and she had cuts on the bottom of both sides of her mouth. I immediately called and emailed the boarding facility. I was told me the lady who answered the phone that she had gotten my dog’s missing nail “mixed up” with another dog and this is why I wasn’t told about it; she attempted to assure me that the correct dog had received treatment for the missing nail, but I didn’t have a lot of confidence in this assurance. I was dumbfounded at how this problem wasn’t recorded in a log/file for my dog, and how I was never told when the injury occurred or at the time of pickup. I asked to speak to a manager, so she promised to have someone call me the next day (it was late). On Monday morning I received a call from someone else that the boarding facility who apologize about the mix up with my dogs nail. They said both of my dogs were digging outside (in the runs there are pebbles on the ground) and that’s likely how she broke her nail. Neither of my dogs have dug since I adopted them 4-5 years ago, but I’m sure this is possible when they are in a new and stressful environment. Regarding the injuries on my dog’s mouth she also blamed this on digging. She had told me that an employee who noticed the mouth injuries thought she had been dropped off with this, and this absolutely wasn’t the case. She did mention that any type of injury found during the say should be reported immediately and that this employee had been reprimanded. I found that the facility has wire fencing on the outside runs (as opposed to a solid wall) and I’m almost positive that this is how my dog’s nail was broken off (from trying to scratch at it) and how the sores occurs on her mouth (from trying bite at the wiring). Ultimately I was provided a refund for my dogs stay, but I’m not even sure if this will cover the vet bills. We may be able to treat the expose quick with antibiotics, but it’s possible that her teeth were damaged from biting the metal fence. Boarding facilities know that dogs are often very anxious when away from home so they generally have constant monitoring, surveillance, and excellent logging and communication if something goes wrong. We’ve boarded our dogs many times and I’ve never experience anything like the “care” they received here. My dogs don’t get along with other dogs very well, and we were clear about this at drop-off. Given the setup of the outdoor portion of the kennels I believe that the dogs were able to see (and even be able to touch each other through the fence), this would have created and extremely stressful environment for my dogs and their neighbors. I would never recommend this facility to someone, I don’t believe the employees are very responsible in providing monitoring or care and I believe that the exposed metal fencing in the outdoor portion of the kennel can cause injury for any dog attempting to get out (as opposed to solid walls which would decrease the stress of seeing other dogs and prevent injury.)
I love the boozy bark and so do my dogs! My dogs love coming here and clearly have a great time. They post pictures on YouTube daily so you can see your dog and see them playing with their friends. They also do boarding, and I once had an emergency and sent a message, and they were able to fit my dogs in - literally with a few hours notice. I will be forever grateful for their help. Everyone who works there is very nice. I've also gotten some help from Jake with training my little sweetie. They are also very reasonably priced.
Wonderful trainer, Jake and Owner, Elizabeth. We got to meet both today when we took our puppy for her first dog-reactive training session at the dog park in San Marcos. This was our first encounter with a dog trainer as we do basic training for all our Foster dogs but this issue was not in our "book of tricks" and had no experience with reactivity before. Jake came to our house a few days before our official training session to do a free evaluation and get to know our dog. LOVE THIS!!! Elizabeth brought her dog as the subject and Jake showed us how to handle the situation with her dog and other dogs. He is experienced, knows his stuff and is a good listener. By the end of the session, our dog was completely at ease with the subject dog and non reactive. She was still somewhat reactive with other dogs walking by but we are on our way to being able to bring her out in public with the tools we learned. We've scheduled another session in a week to see how we do with her training and how it is going. Also signed her up for puppy daycare for socialization.
This is a wonderful facility that made me feel safe and comfortable about leaving my puppy there. My pup practically jumped out of the car every day that he went there. We took group lessons with Jake and it was awesome. We were going to sign up for individual lessons but ended up moving. Lots of appreciation to everyone working at Boozy Bark!
My puppy loves this place so much! I have an almost 5 month old German shepherd and this place has really brought him out of his shell. I wanted to get him into daycare since German shepherds are prone to aggression, and he immediately loved this place. He has some separation anxiety and I was so nervous the first day, and he went back with the employee no hesitation and didn’t even say bye to me haha! He gets so excited and gets the wiggles when he comes here and falls asleep like a rock when he gets home. I love all the pictures I see of him too!
The staff here is incredible!! They’re patient with our dog, Olive, and so kind to my girlfriend and I. Olive always has the best time. It’s clear that they love all the dogs they work with and put a ton of effort into developing bonds with them. Also, we really appreciate the daycare photos they regularly post on Facebook. Can’t recommend enough!
Mylo has been coming to daycare now for 3 months. He’s also had a training session with Jake. I love seeing Mylos Facebook photos while I’m at work. It brings me ease knowing he’s being cared for. When Mylo had a concerning symptom, the owner, Liz, notified me right away and monitored him. I’ve been very careful with Mylo since I adopted him and Boozy has really helped ease my mind.
Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! I had a four month job in San Marcos and brought my two older but still energetic beagles while at work. I also boarded them three times. The staff was instantly kind, trustworthy, accommodating and knowledgeable - got to know my dogs’ social habits quickly to set them up for success in a short time and match them with the right group, and even helped me with some training. My dogs were always thrilled to go! The dogs were never stressed or overstimulated - always had access to a rest space when they needed, balanced with well supervised outdoor or indoor group play time. The staff went above and beyond to help me out when work ran late (or I did). We miss them so much already and can’t recommend them enough.
I love Boozy Bark! I started taking my dog there when she was 5 months old and it has done wonders for her development. She is so sweet to other dogs and loves people, and I owe it to Liz and Abby 💚🩷. The staff at Boozy Bark are AMAZING! They are so kind and very knowledgeable. My dog loves the staff so much that she will only get out of bed to go to daycare when I say their names. I HIGHLY recommend taking your pup to Boozy Bark!!!!
My dog and I love the Boozy Bark! I've been leaving my dog there over two years ago and she loved it since the beginning. All staff is very nice and kind. They post pictures every day and my dog always looks so happy! I highly recommend them!
I have been sending my VERY energetic GSP Remi to Boozy Bark for a few weeks now and he is LOVING it! It is so conveniently located to my work and Elizabeth the owner is so sweet. I love how they post pics of my baby online so I can see all the fun he is having. The owner is passionate about what she does and I'm so glad I have finally found a place in San Marcos that I can be sure is treating our puppy with love!
This was my first time ever boarding my dog and it was an excellent experience! I am really picky about who she stays with because my dog is a little nervous, but she did amazing here. She came home happy, healthy, and confident. The daily updates were a highlight for me and really allowed me to enjoy my vacation. Seeing snapshots of her enjoying her daily activities was so cute and comforting. The staff here are wonderful and I love that this place is owned by a vet- it gives me the ultimate peace of mind. I will definitely be using Remington Pet Ranch again!
This place is awesome. These people are awesome! The care & special touches available like a daily report card & pics of your kid's day are awesome! Their ability to accommodate my grumpy, "get off my lawn!" 15yr old man dog, as well as safely introduce our playful 3yr old girl to group playcare is awesome! And while all kennels are expected to safely care for your beloved fur-kids.... we all know they are not all the same. This place is vet owned. Is this level of attention pricey? Depends on your personal history/experience with boarding, and your lifestyle, I guess. But worth every penny if your pets have the place in your family that ours do. My two Cavaliers stayed at Remington Pet Ranch for 10 days. I received daily email updates with the cutest photos of the two of them playing outside together! One of my dogs needs daily medication and the staff took detailed notes to make sure he was medicated appropriately. I was able to enjoy my vacation so much more knowing that my babies were being so well cared for.
I have been bringing Moro to Remington pet ranch for over a year for daycare, and just finally had her stay here for a week while I was getting married in Cancun. They sent daily photos and pupdates and she looked so happy all the time. The staff are so friendly and I know they take good care of my girl when I need it. Thank you!!!
This place is great! My pup loved playing with friends and exploring the ranch. It was like summer camp for him he wants to go back so we are going to do some daycare days for him a few times a month. This was the first time he has ever boarded and I felt completely at ease and confident that he was safe and having a good time ❤️
Remington Ranch Team, Bubbles, Bradley and Astro had a blast! They were so happy about being able to swim, play with their many many buddies and cuddling with their special caregivers! We looked forward to receiving their report card and photos at the end of every day they were with you all. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our babies. My go-to boarding facility every time we leave town! They were able to accommodate my sweet boy on a last minute notice. I love getting his daily report cards that include photos of him playing with the toys they have on property and I love that he gets his own kennel and does not have to be mixed in with other dogs. Some boarding facilities charge more for individual play time and at Remington they don’t!! Give me peace of mind that while I’m away my boy is safe and happy!! 10/10 We can’t wait for our next visit! Thank you!
This was our first time sending our dog to Remington Pet Ranch and we were so impressed! The staff is very friendly and answered all our questions. We received daily “report cards” for our pup listing the things he enjoyed that day, and received one-two pictures a day as well. He clearly had a great time! It was so nice to know he was well taken care of while we were out of town. Thank you all for loving our dog!
Seriously the best place to board your dogs! They’re very attentive with the pups and have the sweetest updates. I strongly enjoy being able to pick them up and the front desk tells me all about how they did! Worth every penny and will continue to board here :)
My American Staffy mix had a great time! She had the TLC package for 6 days and they explored the ranch everyday went on a hike and swimming. They included photos for each day in the report card, which are super cute. The morning we picked her up she slept all day. The staff was kind and friendly, we felt she was in good hands the whole time.
Just boarded my dog for the weekend and the experience was great. The kennels are clean, the yard is huge, and everyone was kind and honest. A lot of places will lie about how your dog is adjusting just to make you feel better, but they were 100% honest in how he was doing. If I ever need to board him again this will be my first choice! Thank you!!

We had our 2 lab boys stay here 2 nights and they came back happy and healthy! They seemed to really enjoy themselves and were tired when they came home! All of their belongings came back just the way I sent them! I love that this is a smaller kennel and all their kennels are indoor/outdoor runs! They have a GIANT yard they let them out to potty and run around in! Facility looks clean and the owner is a very nice woman! I have one pup who is more on the skiddish side(not aggressive, just scared) and she knew just how to handle him! This is definitely our new kennel for when we go out of town! Only down side was not being able to pick them up Saturday evening when we returned, had to pick up Sunday morning instead!
I left my cats there when I went on vacation, and I left my dogs with my father-in-law. Seeing how well they treat their animals, I'll leave my dogs there next time, too. Fran and Randy, the owners, are really nice people, and not in a fake way, like so many other professionals. Their manager? Employee? I don't know her title, Juliana is also very polite, and clearly loves the animals. 10 out of 5. 👍👍
This is the third time that I have left my loved ones with Fran and Randy. This time, we had 4--my 2 older 12 yr old brothers and our son's 2 (one that had never stayed in a kennel before). I was worried about the older ones since they had not been there for 4 years. Fran and her crew took excellent care of our boys and they looked wonderful when we returned after 10 days. She was also very attentive and responded to every quizzical email that I sent. She calmed our fears and loved our boys. What more can you ask for???
I was so happy a good friend recommended this place to me! Great communications, awesome care for my dogs and convenient WEEKEND hours for pickup and drop off. I will definitely use them again!
I scheduled an appointment to drop my dog off here for 5 days. The man who took my call assured me that they had room and could take my dog on the specified day. Upon showing up at 7:30am-their listed hours on google-there was no one to be found. I called the office and I watched as the phone rang in the abandoned, dark office. They failed to mention to me that they had special “holiday” hours the day that I planned to drop my dog off. They opened at 3pm instead of 7:30am. This place is pretty far out. It’s not like I can drive by and make sure their hours match their google hours. One could make the argument that I should have checked their website first-which I tried to do- but unfortunately their google website linked to a pill website that sells cialis. :) That probably should have been my red flag. I had to frantically call around to find another resort in time to make both my two and a half hour and make my flight by 1 pm. Not a good experience.
We were supposed to take our cat to be boarded here before our vacation out of the country, but that ended up not happening. Luckily my friend agreed to check on him periodically at home while we were gone! My husband told Fran that we would be there around 11AM, but because life happens and things come up, we were running behind. My husband emailed her to let her know we were running late. She called me and I told her we were walking out the door, as we were speaking, and apologized for the inconvenience. She immediately hung up on me. I felt very disrespected. I understand we were running late and inconveniencing her, but we did our part and let her know and we apologized. We will not be giving our business to someone who can be frustrated to the point of hanging up on a customer, even when the customer apologized for being late. We tried calling back a few times and there was no answer. When she finally answered, I told her that we would no longer be bringing our cat up there and apologized again for any inconvenience. Her response to that was "oh my gosh!" in a rude tone. I just didn't appreciate the attitude and how we were treated and we will never give them our business. This makes me sad because they had pretty good reviews, but we didn’t have the same experience as others.
We have been boarding our dog,Yoda, for over two years with Fran and Randy. Yoda is a very shy nervous dog and does not like changes in her routine. She receives excellent care and does wonderfully well at this kennel.
Our dogs have stayed at Frandy several times and the care that they receive there is exceptional. The grounds are well kept and I always feel like the dogs had a better vacation than we did!
If I could give this place 10 stars, I definitely would! This is my first time at Fur Nanny, and upon arrival, I was welcomed with smiles and so much love towards my two pups. Taylor was so informative about what to expect during their grooming session. I have a very anxious golden, but felt very confident leaving him in the care of Taylor and her professional staff. Meagan was also kind enough to send me updates on my pups to let us know that they gave them breaks in between, so they wouldn’t feel overwhelmed. I could not have asked for a better experience and will highly recommend Fur Nanny Boarding & Spaw to anyone looking for a great grooming experience! We will be back. Also, they look & smell amazing!!!
Absolutely Professional Service with genuine care and concern for your fur family members. I took both of my dog's Booth and Korra for a Oatmeal bath/ nail trimming , and they came home smelling amazing with soft coats and nails trimmed just right. Taylor and Megan do amazing work and treat your family members with the utmost care while they are there. I will continue to bring my furry family members here for all their doggy grooming needs, and Highly recommend them to anyone else needing a place to bring their pups to. *Update : I continue to have excellent care for my furry family members here, Taylor and Cass are such wonderful people and love all the animals unconditionally. I gave my pups an Oatmeal bath today with a pumpkin spice scent for the fall and they came out looking and smelling like a million dollars, and they have fall festive attire that is adorable from the fur nanny too. Bring your furry family members here to treat them and support local business.

We were denied daycare for our 90 lb American Akita, said she weighed too much? Seriously, do you accept great danes? i was happy to read this place is veteran owned, we are military retires & i thought veterans take care of their own as well? just saying, SMH, missing out on an awesome pup!
They take good care of my fur babies. I have 2 doodles and take them for grooming regularly. I like that they don't keep them in crates any longer than needed. They are also very fast so my pups don't get stressed. They look great when I pick them up.
I will probably never use another groomer again. I have full confidence that my pets are being cared for while they are there and they are safe. The quality of service is also amazing. Extremely satisfied with each visit.

We absolutely love it here and are so lucky to have found Jessaca! Our boxer/bully mix is hard to find a place for boarding because he is distrusting of strangers and doesn’t play well with others, but he does incredible here and I feel 100% at ease when he is staying. Jessaca “follows the rules” for each dog that she watches and for us that is very comforting since our a pup is a little more to deal with. Him and his sister always come home exhausted from all their fun at Dogs Day Away! Would recommend even if you have to make the short drive from downtown Austin for your pups to have an amazing place to stay!

We just had our first boarding experience with Dog's Day Away and are very happy with the service we received. I get very nervous leaving my dogs somewhere new and we picked up two very happy and tired dogs at the end of their week long stay. Jessaca and the rest of her team were very welcoming and clearly care deeply for each family they care for. We were able to do a visit with our dogs ahead of time and seeing how comfortable they were took away any apprehension I had. They answered every single question I had with patience and I never felt like the "crazy dog parent". I especially like that they keep the dogs separated to just our household and we don't have to do any sort of social time with other dogs. This place is worth every penny and I am grateful we found somewhere we can trust and that our dogs enjoy.

This facility came at a good time when our vet decided to close their boarding facilities. I can’t say enough good things about Dogs Day Away. As soon as we dropped our dog off we knew we made the right choice. I felt very comfortable and never worried that our baby was in good hands.
Dogs Day Away is a great place to board your dog! The owners, Jessica and Justin, are so sweet and attentive to each of the dogs that are left in their care. I remember when I first left my pup with them I was a little bit nervous about it, but they were so reassuring and made my dog comfortable. They are now the only people I trust with my dog, and I love how excited he gets whenever I leave him with them. They also have a huge backyard for your dog to run around in, and they provide all the toys your dog could possibly need during his/her stay. I highly recommend leaving your dog in their caring hands whenever they need a place to stay during your travels!
My dog absolutely LOVES boarding here. He is a large pittie mix and has been anxious at other boarders. Dogs Day Away always goes above and beyond. My dog gets so excited whenever we pull up, could not recommend more!
Our puppy loves going here. It's a nice little vacation for him when we go out of town. The owner is very nice and the staff really care about the dogs. Prices are very reasonable also. If you are booking here, make your reservation in advance because they do book up quickly since they are a smaller doggie day care.
