Oh dear, I'm afraid that I've been terribly remiss in getting this feedback posted. My apologies to Mike and Una for that as they were very timely in all their communication with me and I certainly owe them the feedback they deserve. This was such a lovely house sit. First, Mike and Una were great at communicating with us prior to our arrival. They gave detailed instructions on getting to their place and parking. They welcomed us in a timely manner, got us shown around their house and left us such a nice gift of wine, pudding for our English Christmas feast and several other nice treats for our stay. They had a nice bedroom for us and gave access to all their good cooking equipment. Their little dog Mia was so sweet and super easy to take care of. She is a real lap dog but also a real pleasure to take out on a lead around the local park. Staying in Peckham was really fun and we got to see a different part of London than we might have otherwise. We didn't get to see Mike and Una on their return as we needed to get to the airport (and find lunch on New Year's Day...not an easy feat!) before they made it back. I can't recommend this sit enough and we wish Mike and Una, their lovely little baby and Mia all the best! Thanks, Mike and Una! Leigh Ann and Jonathan
House and cat sitting for Daisy in the hills of Torreblanca was wonderful! Blue and Sofia are two very different, very sweet and very vocal cats. They are affectionate, easy to look after and very good company. Daisy’s house is beautiful and has everything you need and more, including a lovely garden and a really great swimming pool. The area is peaceful and has a lovely woodland walk nearby with places to eat within walking distance. We spent every day on the beach and had the most wonderful time! Daisy is a stunning host; Everything was really well organised and she communicates promptly and with humour and kindness. We absolutely loved our stay in Fuengirola and would love to come again if you’ll have us. 🐾♥️🐾
We had a lovely time looking after gorgeous Gracie. She was a bit timid at first but by day 2 she was allowing us to stroke her. She was easy to look after. Jennifer and Deane gave us a great debrief on everything about the sit and appreciated the regular updates and photos of Gracie. Their place is lovely, comfortable and in a nice quiet area. Definitely recommend.
It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Richard and Sonya’s home, looking after Marple and Moose. Both cats were extremely easy to care for, although we saw a lot more of Marple - she loves her strokes! We fed the chickens and fish daily too, enjoying the delights of home-laid eggs and the abundance of fruits in the orchard. Communication was easy and quick, and we felt supported and trusted throughout our stay. Their home is a beautiful, cosy, immaculate barn conversion, with plenty of space. While we stayed in the adjacent holiday cottage, they generously gave us the run of their home. Autumn was a stunning time to visit, as there are walks into forests from their doorstep and plenty to explore further into Exmoor. The log burner was a treat to come back to, and necessary after some cold plunges in the River Horner and off Porlock Weir at high tide! We hope to sit again for them, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this experience to anyone. Thank you both!
