It was an absolute please to house and pet sit for Fiona and Ozzy and Stella are 2 of the cutest, sweetest little Shih Tzu's you could ever hope ot have the pleasure of minding. Fionas home is beautiful and is very spacious, quiet and comfortable to stay in and has a beautiful garden and is very conveniently located next to an amazing park and all local shops and bars. I couldn't recommend highly enough as a place to sit - Thank you Fiona - Seán
Sitting for Trevor & Claire (and Georgie & Alice) was amazing! They are the nicest and most welcoming hosts we've had and genuinely nice and fun people to know. They gave us gems of information leading up to the sit, were always available during the sit for any questions, and were so accommodating when they arrived back home. They have a lovely home in a great location for good local shops, parks/commons areas, a Tube station, and nice neighbourhood walks for the pups. Max and Zeeba (the pups) were so much fun! Each had their own unique personality and both were SO incredibly charming. They are the best cuddle partners for your evenings in and will make you feel like a million bucks every time you wake up, come home, feed them, get their leads ready for a walk, or walk near their treat stash. Molly (the cat) was the new addition to the household and she was adorable! She was, honestly, the nicest, most loving, and sweetest cat we've ever sat. All she wants is you nearby for a good cuddle and some rubs. And then she'll just fall asleep next to you. Super easy and so cute! Molly was still getting used to the dogs when we were there but I think they'll be well on their way to being friends by the next sit. Zeeba is beyond ready to have Molly as a playmate :) Overall we highly recommend sitting Trevor & Claire if you get the chance -- (although we'd probably be applying again for their next one!) The animals were the best --dare I say our favourites? --the hosts were the best and the house is a lovely, comfy place to be while in London. Thanks so much for having us!
Chance and Cooper have my heart. They were so easy to love. Chance was so ready to love and be loved. Whether fetch in the yard or walks in the neighborhood or just hanging out on the living room floor, he is all heart and ready to please. And Cooper, shy and sweet old guy, soon became my shadow. He will follow you around for belly rubs and snuggles and as many kisses as he can get in. Both doggies are kind and amenable housemates. They take their medicine readily. They are smart and listen really well. Plus they know lots of games when rainy days make outside time hard!! Jen has done an excellent job in training and loving her boys. The neighborhood was easy for walking the dogs--and the hilltop is good cardio! The fenced backyard is spacious and sunny for playing fetch or hanging out with the dogs on the deck. We enjoyed the songbirds and hawks and even a few deer coming out of the tree line. Jen's home is beautiful and immaculately designed. We were able to work (from multiple workstations!) and relax in comfort. Jen was a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. Even while she was out of the country and out of cell-range, she made sure we had many resources. She was great to work with! And Charlottesville! If you haven't been, you've gotta go! We loved all the hiking and day trips within easy reach!! Plus the food scene, farmers markets, and incredible downtown! Jen was an enthusiastic host, making lots of solid recommendations and even sharing her ticket to the symphony. We had a lovely three weeks and we would come back as soon as we can!
I enjoyed taking care of Kona, a sweet older kitty with some basic medication needs but really very easy to take care of. Rebecca and Mark provided excellent directions on his care and great suggestions for things to do in the area, including local hikes and restaurants. The house was very clean and comfortable in a lovely neighborhood. A great sit for someone who likes peace and quiet and proximity to the outdoors.
What a beautiful stay in uptown NYC! With stunning views of the George Washington Bridge, beautiful parks surrounding Juliet and David’s home, and lots of places to walk this sit is a special gem! Juliet and David were both so kind and communicative, leaving me feeling comfortable and welcome and the sweet pets, oh my goodness! Darwin is a big teddy bear of love, so well behaved and such a loving boy. Kit Kat takes a minute to warm up, but then is curious about you and very sweet and little Arthur the bunny! So fun spending time with a free roaming rabbit! This is a quirky crew that you will come to adore. The apartment is beautiful and well located, close to subways to get wherever you need to go and lots to do in the area! I throughly loved my stay here. Thank you Juliet and David!
I was warmly welcomed by Janice and Dennis right from the start! They are a lovely and friendly couple and I was made to feel instantly at home. They have a super comfy spacious apartment in a lovely area that has all the amenities needed. Sucre is an absolute sweetheart 💖 He's quite affectionate once he gets to know you, and he's no trouble to care for at all! I thoroughly enjoyed my sit, and would recommend to anyone without hesitation. I look forward to meeting them all again in the future.
