What an incredible blessing to get to know Hilary and Dan and to care for Callie in their beautiful "little piece of heaven!" They are a wonderfully warm and engaging couple and Hilary is an exceptional host, taking care to provide excellent instructions and helping us feel right at home in every way possible. Not only did we have a beautiful, peaceful home with an amazing view, they also left us with a flourishing garden to help ourselves to! And Callie is truly a treasure! She is sweet and obedient and an absolute joy to be with! She responded to us so well that we were soon inseparable and we enjoyed many long walks, rides on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and cuddles on the swing. Truly a memorable stay and we're blessed with new friends, too! Thank you, Hilary and Dan! We would love to sit for you again!
I had such a wonderful time looking after Sadie at Brian and Holly’s house for 3 months. They were super friendly, organised and communicative from the start and it was a piece of cake to settle in their home and get to know Sadie thanks to their advice. They were also very responsive and really helpful throughout their trip despite travelling. Sadie was the cutest, loveliest, and funniest greyhound, she was really easy to get on with and such a gem throughout the 3 months. I dearly miss her and really hope to greysit her again very soon!
Amy and Owen's home is in a nice quiet residential area just a few minutes' drive to stores, shops, etc. Scout is a beautiful, active dog that listens very well. She is easy to care for and loves to spend time out in the yard playing ball or just relaxing by your side. The rabbits are very low maintenance an just require feeding in the morning.
We had a wonderful time at this peaceful and beautiful ranch. The five dogs were obedient and loving. Caring for the chickens involved filling their automatic watering and feeding station and throwing out some scratch. We were amazed at how the chickened raced in for scratch and self roosted in their coop at dusk. Collecting the multicolored chicken eggs was fun. Gail and Mike had the hay and an automatic water system in place, so counting and visually checking the cows and horses in the morning and at dusk was easily done. To top it off, the unexpected treat of witnessing Starlink separating a stage in the night sky was spectacular. The towns of Bryan and College Station are close and have many restaurants and activities. Gail and Mike had clear instructions and had everything set up for us. All in all an amazing housesit!
Pam and Pete are very relaxed and welcoming to their home. We had a very enjoyable stay looking after Poppy (an absolute angel) and Teddy (the most affectionate boy with a cheeky personality) Their home is very comfortable and Pam made us feel relaxed from the very start. Looking forward to returning for more cuddles with my new little furry friends.
