We had a wonderful time taking care of Bella the cat and looking after Kathy's place. They have a lovely home in a lovely neighbourhood and we went for lots of walks. Kathy and her husband were very accommodating of our arrival time and they were very relaxed. Bella was the sweetest girl and very low maintenance - she just needed to be fed and cuddled, that's all. We house sat during Bonfire day and Bella wasn't even scared of the fireworks. We would recommend Kathy and Bella any day!
This was a really lovely sit. Leah and Ryan were very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed for a successful sit. We enjoyed caring for sweet Jovi. Jovi is a lovable and affectionate puppy who brightens everyone's day. He is easy to look after, and absolutely adorable. No one can resist his beauty. He is a pleasure to look after. The house has recently been tastefully renovated, it is beautiful and comfortable and everything is in good condition. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome. We look forwards to seeing you again and looking after Jovi.
The stay in Amsterdam in the house of Nienke with Stella and Bear was our first experience with Trusted Housesitters and it could not have been better! Nienke is very kind and sweet and made us feel welcome, Stella and Bear are very nice dogs and we loved the house and the neigbourhood. The home is centrally located but also a very quite retreat from frenzy Amsterdam. Stella and Bear are beautiful and friendly dogs,they love to be around you, get cuddles and after a long walk sleep on the couch with their head on your lap. We had a very nice weekend in Amsterdam and we would love to come back sometime and take care of our new friends
We very much enjoyed our time at Clive and Michelle's delightful annexe and Bertie and Winter are just adorable! They love cuddles and have got to be the most affectionate dogs we have ever met. You only have to look at Bertie and he will gaze lovingly at you and wag his tail - well, wag his whole body actually - and Winter has the sweetest little face, the gentlest mouth, and will do anything for tummy rubs! They settle well at night and also in between walks and food during the day. There are local grassy walks but the dogs also travelled well in the car and enjoyed a couple of longer walks along the quiet Dales pathways which Winter, particularly, seemed to like, trotting along, quietly and happily, sniffing lots of grass and keeping up well with the rest of us despite her little legs. Clive and Michelle are wonderful hosts - kind, friendly and thoughtful. Leyburn itself is a great little town with many pretty villages are nearby. It is very easy to recommend this sit. Thank you for having us!
One of our favorite sits! Luna was wonderful company and we enjoyed watching the chickens do their thing. Animals and house were easy to care for. Gerry and Helen were gracious hosts and also easy to communicate with during our stay. The house is lovely, clean, and comfortable. We sat on the lanai every day, and the pool was amazing. We were there in the height of summer and it was still just perfect. We miss Luna!
Daren & I connected initially with a FaceTime visit to introduce ourselves to each other. From there we bonded and walked through what was needed at her lovely home and to care for their dog. She was wonderful to communicate with during our phone call and had also laid out instructions at the home when I arrived there and things to do in the area while I was there taking care of Cosmo, her wonderful dog. He was a gem to be around and we had a great time. In the future if there’s any need for her family to go away, I’d be more than happy to come back.
