ruth went above and beyond taking care of our house. we really appreciate her care.
I enjoyed my time on the island with Kenya very much. She's a very sweet little kitty who warms up nicely and appreciates attention in the mornings and whenever she pops in throughout the day and evening. The home is nice and secluded with trees all around, along with a nice vegetable and herb producing garden, including tomatoes, potatoes, chives and mint of which I was happy to be able to make use of. The parks in the area are spectacular and offer great views of the coastlines and several nearby islands. Julie's contacts were helpful and very entertaining to say the least. Without going into all of the details, aside from making me feel welcome right from the start, Julie was very generous with me and made me feel more appreciated than I've ever felt looking after things for her, for which I am very grateful. Highly recommend this sit.
Really enjoyed staying in Estes Park! Steven and B have a wonderful and cozy mountain home. Athena and Tripel were really easy to manage and a delight to be around.
We loved our time in Sandra and Bob’s lovely estate. They both were thoughtful hosts and had a thorough guide book ready for us. Always easy to communicate with throughout our stay. They and their lovely kind children were charming and welcoming. The home was clean and spacious with lots of toys and even outdoor equipment for our children to play on. The animals were friendly and all easy to handle. There is some normal farm work to be done. But that is exactly why we choose this as a destination for our family. We were very happy to fill a week of our summer tending to a gentle pony, calm older horse, laying chickens, a bearded dragon a garden and an extremely friendly cuddly outdoor cat. There was watering to be done as it didn’t rain much during our stay. That plus feeding of the cat, chickens and bearded dragon were perfect for our children to participate in. They also have a lovely well behaved gentle dog who went with them on their travels but we would have happily kept him with us as he was such a joyful easy dog. The lovely home was very comfortable while also being beautiful and stately. The rooms are large with high ceilings and lots of natural light. All the beds are comfortable. We were able to work remotely with only a one time small morning power interruption which we used as an opportunity to pop into Kilkenny to sample some of their excellent bakeries. Speaking of Kilkenny, easily one of the cuter towns in Ireland. Waterford, also in driving distance was the other that we liked the best. There are interesting ruins, castles, and towers to explore not too far away if you have a car. And I do recommend having a car. Though you could grocery shop and eat-in the entire stay, there are so many cute towns, restaurants and pubs worthy to explore as long as you’re back in time to put the chickens away before nightfall. And there are great restaurants right in Kilkenny. We did eat in some of the time and the kitchen was well equipped and easy to use and clean. I would highly recommend this sit if you enjoy a mix of rolling up your sleeves to do a bit of enjoyable rewarding work while having good company of lovely animals and either sightseeing or relaxing on a pretty farm. This was a top notch experience for our family.
