What a joy spending two weeks with Bagels! Hazel was taken care of Michal’s family member, so I only saw her for 2 days, but can say, she is really gentle and beautiful dog, even though she makes the first impression as a little scary because of her size, but she is such a lovely baby! Bagels is one of the cutest cats in my experience so far! Bagels is a tender cat, loves to be alone, sometimes she gets excited about the water running in the bathroom. Really down to earth! She eats her food twice a day and a pretty much low maintenance cat! Despite the fact, she is chilled, she has her internal desire to run around in the garden and would want to escape out, which you should never let happen. It’s dangerous, because she can be attacked by the neighbors’ cat, which can damage her badly. All the doors should be always closed, meaning 2 front doors(1 white steel door and 1 blue door) and 1 back door. Note, there is a hole under the white steel door where a cat would perfectly fit, so Bagels managed to sneak out of the house through this hole for a while but then was really quickly found in the garden, with no wounds or damage, with the help of Michal and Kevin, because she usually doesn’t run away far, but stays around the house. So in case she is out, don’t panic, just call Bagels several times, bring out her favourite food and make sounds like opening a tin and she should show up! Michal and Kevin are just a great human beings: attentive, calm and always responsive! Was a pleasure to be in touch with you both! Meanwhile they helped me and hosted me for 2 nights prior to their departure, which I am really grateful about, also they left lots of food in the fridge, which was really helpful! The location is a dream! It’s just 10 mins walk from the spectacular Financial District of LA. The apartment is at the first floor of the house and it’s amazing, there is a garage for 2 cars, laundry, the coded gates to protect your stay. Tons of bars, restaurants, cafe’s, movie shooting locations, such as from Chanted, Fast and Furious, Drive, 500 Days of Summer, La La Land etc. are all over around. About transportation: LA is a car-city, and I strongly suggest renting a car before you get there, since Uber costs are triple more than renting a car + public transport wouldn’t get you to the places you want, don’t even try. Example: From the suggested point A to point B public transport will get you with 4 changes - 1 hour 40 minutes of your time. Car will take you the same distance - 20 minutes. Ridiculous? It’s LA! Also if you wanna save some coins on gas, can rent an Electric Vehicle, tons of offers in Turo. What’s fun is - 3 minutes drive from the apartment is one of a few FREE charging stations in LA- Shell Recharge Charging Stations. 1230 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90017, it will charge your car in 1.5 hours while you are having a coffee with pals in Downtown and you will be ready for further adventures:) Overall me and Steph had the most pleasant time when sitting with lovely Bagels! I recommend hanging out with Bagels, Hazel, Michal and Kevin to each and everyone, who will stumble upon the listing! You will have some of the greatest times of you life. Nancy was great to communicate with and pet sitting Manny was a real joy. He is super cuddly and full of love. Nancy's home is beautiful and it was a very relaxing place to spend a few days. I would recommend this sit to anyone!
