We LOVED house sitting for Lucinda and her family! The family gave us a nice warm welcome and allowed us to settle in very comfortably. Firstly the pets (most importantly) were all gorgeous. We fell in love with them and are still missing them all. They were very easy to look after, giving us plenty of love and cuddles but also being independent when they wanted to be - the dogs were mainly sleeping throughout the day after their walks- what a life! The dogs were also easy to walk and we enjoyed taking them out twice a day. Very well behaved! The house is beautiful. Immaculately clean. One of the most beautiful English country houses we’ve seen. We were comfortable in the house and felt completely at home. There’s everything you could possibly need to make your house sit enjoyable. The local area is great - we found plenty of walking tracks and we loved exploring it. A beautiful tranquil countryside to discover. There’s everything close by! Marlborough town is close by with really nice cafes. We are incredibly fond of Lucinda and her family, their pets and their home. We will definitely be trying to organise another house sit soon. We miss those fur babies too much!
Mark and Sophia made our stay very easy with all the instructions, we felt like at home. Princess Sisi and Mr. Paws are very good and interesting pets with which there are no problems. The stay went too quickly and if the opportunity arises again, we will be happy to look after Sisi and Mr. Paw again.
I had a really lovely sit with Lily and Oreo. Both are very well behaved kitties who love attention and are very vocal. Carla’s place is a cute and well maintained house with a sun-lit patio. There are a number of places to visit nearby. Recommended!
Beth made us feel so comfortable and was so welcoming that we felt extremely comfortable with looking after Cosmo, Zyg and her lovely home.
Had a great week with Bandit, Snow, Luna and Rocket! They are all cute as pie and very low maintenance. Nancy was kind and responsive. Would sit for them again!
It's impossible not to love Lucy and Janet! They are both an absolute delight to spend time with! Janet is a dream host. Lucy is extremely friendly, handles walking on a leash well, and completely charmed me. I love how excited she gets to meet other dogs and people, and how she enjoys laying down in the water when we walked to the shore. Janet's place is dangerously close to two of the best bakeries in town as well as all the highlights of Ballard. The guest rooms and bathrooms upstairs are clean, comfortable and have everything you could need!
