If there were 10 stars for a review, that’s what I’d give Leanne and Steve. They could not have been more attentive to our two dogs, walking them in the woods and on our steep road and generally loving them. The house was spotless when we returned. They texted us daily to let us know how things were going. And to top it all off, they are delightful people. We are excited to have such wonderful sitters and to have them back again!!!
A very comfortable sit at Roni and John's. I was impressed with the comprehensive guide for the home, including photos. The home is in a peaceful location with a delightful outlook. Multiple kangaroos for company, and in no way would you be lonely, with the "three musketeers' keeping a watchful eye on you. The dogs were easy care and absolutely loved a good country walk.
Hazel was a great dog. Very sweet and well behaved. She was easy and a joy to care for. Rachel also was great to work with and communicated well. Would recommend!
"I had so much fun hanging out with Rissa! She's so funny and smart. We spent a lot of the evening cuddling, and she even kept me company overnight. Kate was lovely and available for any questions I had. The house is sweet and located in a beautiful neighborhood, a short drive from the city center. There's a lot to do in the area, and it's also close to bus stations. I enjoyed my time with Rissa, and taking care of her was very easy. I highly recommend both of them and am very grateful!
We had a great time looking after Montana and Murphy (the 5 month old Great Dane puppy). Montana is so easy to look after, she is never demanding and is so well behaved. Her training is obvious and she is very obedient. Murphy was hilarious, he is a fun puppy but he doesn't realise how big he is until it comes to gently pushing Montana around and tripping over himself or falling off the lounge. The two dogs really enjoy each others company and love to play together. The house was very comfortable and the pool was a blessing on several of the warmer days. It was lovely to meet Leanne and Anthony and they were excellent communicators. We had a great time. Peter and Shane
Wow! This was just such a wonderful sit ! I was so lucky to meet this great, gentle, lovely and very generous couple Shelley and Pete and their sweet adorable dog Remy. They made my stay really great and I enjoyed so much my time there. Everything before went very well, first contact and chat and when I arrived, they made sure, that I felt really comfortable and that I would have all. They left food and drinks for me, I could chose the bedroom, where I felt the best and their home is cosy and comfortable. Really Shelley and Pete did all, to make me feel at home, which I very much appreciated. Their dog Remy is one of the greatest company, I ever had as a dog, - even a little bit shy in the beginning, but then lovable, sweet, attached and very well obeying and socialized. So everyhing was easy with him. As I had some days off, we went together all over , we explored the city, the beaches and the nature around - so great landscape there - and he took bus and train without any problem with me. He is a very social and an easy going dog, who is always friendly to dogs and humans and loves his ball when going out. He was as well ok waiting for me at home, when I needed to go to the supermarket, or when I did a guided visit at Edinburgh. The neighbourhood is quiet, with a lot of nature and land around, we only walked some minutes, and already were in beautiful parc and hills, where you can walk hours and hours if you wish to, and there are great views down on Edinburgh and the sea entry. The bus stop is just almost in front of the house, and it takes you around 20-30 minutes with the bus to get in the center, so very easy, as there are frequent buses going in and out. You could walk as well. Even if it is quite longer, it is worth, as you 'll cross beautiful districts going downtown. So in all, I had a really good time and I an very grateful to were chosen. Thank you very much, Shelley and Pete, it was so great, to be with Remy and at your cosy home and thanks a lot as well for the dinner invitations. I loved my stay at your place and Remy is just a wonderful dog. I loved to be with him. I will miss the lots of cuddles we had and to have him around.
This was a great house sit, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Communication with Jennie prior to the sit was excellent. There was a very comprehensive home profile available. She was also a very kind and generous host. We arrived the evening before and had a tour of the home and Ruby and Bryn’s routine, including a walk. Jennie showed us around Kingston and also treated us to an evening meal which we very much appreciated. Ruby and Bryn were lovely dogs and very easy to care for. They enjoyed 3 short walks around the local park. They were great on the lead. They are very relaxed around the home and sleep for most of it ! Kingston is a 10 minute walk. It’s a lovely town with a great vibe. There are lots of cafes and restaurants and the river area is beautiful. We went to nearby Hampton Court and walked along the river to Teddington. Overall a fantastic sit. Thanks Jennie !!
