First of all, I cannot thank Joe and Sal enough for their hospitality! They really were so kind and generous. Thank you :) My stay with Uriel in Porto was great. She is a beautiful girl. I really love her character, which is strong, in many ways she reminded me of myself, strong willed, headstrong, knows what she wants! hahhahaha She really is great. If you decide to sit for Uriel, you have to know she will want whatever side of the bed you do, she will tell you she wants her breakfast around 5am and you will get to enjoy early morning walks in Porto, during which she will show you exactly where she wants to go, even down to which side of the road she wants to walk on! It is a joy to walk with her early morning, enjoy the peace, see the beauty of the city at the same time as keeping your eyes peeled for a bottle for her to carry, and for any kind of snack that may peak her interest, which she should not be eating! I found her really easy to take care of as she is so easy going, she wanted to play when she wanted to and otherwise, she was relaxed. Also, she barely has any interest in other dogs or people, except when they are desperate to give her attention which she loves, outside which makes her easy to walk, oh but keep your eyes peeled for people with balls... in this moment you really feel her strength! I would happily Uriel sit anytime and look forward to seeing Joe and Sal again either back in Porto or on their visit to Spain.
Charlotte and Graham welcomed me into their home, and gave me easy instructions to take care of the pets and plants and the house. pet They even provided me with transportation, which was a godsend. Percy is a little bundle of joy. He will sit next to you to watch TV or sit by while you’re eating, or sleep with you. Percy likes to go for drives and short walks. Other than that he’s perfectly happy to just hang out at home, where he has access to the backyard to go potty and mostly free feeds. Sydney is content to hang out in the cage and listen to music, or white noise at night. Sydney is fed twice a day and keeps a pretty clean cage. The home is ideally situated on the east side of Oahu. Very close to Hanauma Bay for snorkeling, or Hiking straight up the Tramway at Kokohead Crater. There are also a lot of beautiful beaches heading north toward Kailua. The home is large and gets breezes throughout the day. There is a private bedroom and bathroom for the sitter, and Air conditioning is available. Within 5 miles you have Safeway, Costco, and Longs for shopping, as well as a number restaurants. my sit was for two weeks and I was really sad when I had to say goodbye to Percy and the beauty of Oahu.
What’s not to love about a house sit on the beautiful island of Mull with two gorgeous cats and three happy hens. I cannot thank Fiona enough for the opportunity to care for Moxie, Marmite and the 3 feathered girls. Fiona is a wonderful host who made me feel very welcome and I enjoyed hearing about her story over a glass of wine on my arrival. She is a very accomplished and interesting lady who lives a blissful life in her island home. I envy her. Her home is cosy, comfortable, warm and quiet with gorgeous views from every window and glorious natural light warming every room. Fiona has a fabulous well appointed kitchen with a wonderful view out over a pine forest that is home to beautiful Tawny Owls and Cuckoos who will delight you with their calls if you listen out for them at dusk. I’m a bird lover so I was in heaven. Bird feeders outside the house attracted finches, chats, warblers, tits and my first woodpecker which was very exciting. My bedroom was lovely with a super comfortable bed and more views. Waking up to cuddles and happy purrs from Moxie and Marmite was a treat followed by their entertaining morning routine. They were such fun and had lots of love to share. They were great couch companions while I watched TV and read at night. The chickens were so easy to care for and they enjoyed their blueberries and strawberries in exchange for beautiful eggs each day. Fiona provided excellent comprehensive instructions and communication with her before and during the sit was great. Mull is a beautiful island full of history, legend and wildlife with stunning landscapes and beautiful beaches. I explored some amazing corners of the island and even had a fab swim at a secluded beach suggested by Fiona. This was a dream sit and if given the chance, I would love to come back and sit again. Muk has a way of understanding dogs. He is patient and knows how to speak their language. With us being first time owners of a rotweiler it was frustrating. SAfter my first dog walker (from Rover) in Catonsville stopped working, I looked around for something other than Rover, because it had taken so long to find someone I liked and trusted. I'm picky because I was a dog walker myself for ten years, so I know the quality of dog walkers out there varies immensely. This company was recommended to me by a coworker who used them for their own dog. My little maltipoo has had a great time with them! They send gorgeous high quality photos of both my dog and my cats who quickly warmed up to the walkers coming into the house. They've been responsive and accommodating to my weekly schedule changes (my housemate's schedule changes regularly and I sometimes get to work from home or stay home sick) and their online system is easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a skilled, knowledgeable dog walker who will always send you a note when they come - so you never have to doubt whether or not your pup got walked.
Reilley & the PetFit team are the absolute best!! All of the walkers are very obviously animal lovers & always comment about how excited they are to see our girls each time we book them. We have been using their services since March 2022 when my husband had to start going back into the office 3-days a week. Ever since PetFit has been walking The Girls 1-2x per week. We have two huskies, so winter walks are no problem but we’re very careful & particular in the summer. PetFit is great at following our guidelines for summer walks. They take every safety precaution possible, which I am so grateful for as an owner. The post-walk reports are a bonus & make my day when they arrive in my inbox at work! Reilly and the team at Pet Fit are fantastic. We have worked with them for the past year for our two dogs. Reilly and their team are professional, enthusiastic, and genuinely care for our dogs as if they were their own. They are attentive and know our dogs well enough to notice any changes in their behavior or health. I appreciate their team-based focus on working with our puppy and other dog on commands and leash behavior. It is clear everyone is passionate and knowledgeable about what they do and I would not want to use anyone else for our dogs.

Reilly and the walkers at PetFit are so kind, trustworthy, and helpful! Our dog became sick recently and Reilly and his team did everything they could to help and would even come twice per day on short notice! They are willing to bring in packages and help with little things at the house. I love the photos we get from each walk, they’re fun to see what we are missing! PetFit tries to adjust also to the idiosyncrasies of your dog (ours hates the rain) to get the best walk experience for your pooch. I cannot overstate how extremely pleased and satisfied we have been with the team at Pet Fit! They've been walking my now 10-year-old dog Mollie for a few years now and they are really wonderful! Their service is very easy to use as you can set up your schedule via app. The dog-walkers are clearly animal lovers and enthusiastic about seeing my doggie each day! Mollie loves her walks and, if the weather's bad and she's not in the mood, the Pet Fit walkers always find a way to coax her out for a quick pee, and then spend a little time with her inside instead. In all the time they've been working with us, they haven't missed a single walk! That's very important to me because I can relax and know that Mollie will have a break every day during the week while I'm working. (She's very spoiled!). This service is worth every penny!!!!! We have had an awesome experience with PetFit. We had not used a pet walking service before, but since getting injured we needed someone. Reilly got us going but Natalie has been doing most of the walks with our large, playful dog. Natalie is caring, thoughtful and keeps Josie very active. Pet Fit is one of the best dog walking experiences I have had. I would choose this business over Rover or an app any day. Reilly is incredible with the dogs and I always knew they were in good hands. He is responsive and flexible. We have one dog that had issues due to a vaccine and her behavior needs to be monitored closely in case she is having issues and he was always quick to text or update the portal everyday with how she was doing. He also knew when to let her rest while taking my other dog for walk. My other dog also had knee surgery and Reilly took such good care of her while she was not able to move and was patient with her as she got back on her feet. If you are looking for a dog walker, this is def the place to go. I could not be happier with the services and pricing. The daily updates with photos were the highlight of my afternoons. Kudos to this small biz !

My dog is not a “people person” and can be fearful of strangers, so finding a trustworthy boarder to care for him was a real challenge until I was recommended to BeMore Pet Care by another dog trainer. I have total confidence that my dog is very well cared for when I leave him with Morgan, and he’s always happy and healthy after his time with her. They’ve always been able to accommodate my boarding requests even with relatively short notice, and the process is very simple and stress free. We recently used BeMore Pet care for boarding our two dogs while we were out of the country for 10 days and I’m so glad we did! I was nervous having them stay at someone’s home especially because one of our dogs has separation anxiety and some behavioral issues. We also have an older Pittie mix with health issues, but Sarah, our pet sitter, took excellent care of them. She provided daily updates and the dogs were happy and healthy when we picked them up. She gave them all of their medications and followed our instructions. She also took the time to give them plenty of snuggle time. I would definitely recommend using BeMore Pet Care for pet sitting!
We are very pleased to have found BeMore pet care. It’s hard to find reliable pet sitters. They have accommodated our schedules many times, and even gone out of their way and made the extra effort. These are experience pet sitters who were able to medicate some of our older cats.

Morgan and the BeMore crew are absolutely fantastic, we couldn't recommend them more!! We've had plenty of dog walkers over the years, but Morgan & her team always goes above & beyond. We had 2 very high maintenance pups (1 little deaf & skittish Cavalier, and a 15-year old rock star Lab) when we first moved to the neighborhood a few years ago. Morgan and her team were so patient & attentive w/ them from the start. They loved her and the rest of the team, and were so excited every time they came to get them for walks. Getting photos sent for every walk was such a treat in our work day! Now we have 2 young, feisty guys (Black Lab & Papillion), and they love Morgan & team just as much. I entrusted Morgan and her team with my high energy, yet lovable, pitbull mix for about a week. I was nervous, as this was the first time she slept away from home. We hired BeMore Pet Care to watch our pets, and they did such an amazing job. We have a senior bunny rabbit who has some specific care considerations, and a cat who’s had issues with separation anxiety in the past. From the first email, Morgan was responsive and helpful when sharing available services and pricing, and I felt like she genuinely considered our needs when finding us the right sitter. Our sitter Jill was phenomenal. She sent prompt, clear updates each visit, outlining which tasks had been completed to care for each pet. She sent so many photos, and made sure both pets’ living environments were clean and comfortable the whole time we were gone. I really did feel that she took the same kind of care that we would have if we’d been home. I would 100% hire this team again. They were fantastic.
I met Morgan at a training center and was thrilled to hear when she went out on her own to start BeMore Pet Care. I have always been nervous about leaving my girl with anyone, as she is special needs (deaf) and also quite large/strong. It is hard for me to find people to care for my most prized possession... and I would leave her in Morgan's care in a heartbeat. Morgan is wonderful with dogs, attentive, a great communicator, and also a great business owner. She keeps me updated with a picture for each walk or overnight boarding. My dog always comes home exhausted so I know she is getting adequate attention, walks, and stimulation when Morgan cares for her overnight. Can't recommend BeMore enough for the other over-protective dog Moms out there!

Nothing but good things to say about Caves Valley Pet Lodge and their proprietor Janice. It's a family business, they limit the number of dogs they take, and they don't charge you fees to get your pet out of solitary confinement like big box kennels. I also appreciated them because they worked with when I needed to pick up my dog unexpectedly (Christmas Day, no less), because they provided nutrition advice to help my dog put on weight, that they board their own dogs with their clients, and that they have acres for the dogs to play in. My dog Sam loved it and we'll be back next time we're in Baltimore.
Thank you for watching my special boy! He is an older dog at 13 and I had some concerns, but Janice and everyone there made him feel so comfortable and loved! Do not hesitate to bring your special guy or gal. They will be treated to a wonderful stay!
I have had great experiences taking our 9 year old golden doodle to Janice and Tyler at Long Last Kennel in Owings Mills. I like that Janice is able to take reservations by text and keeps things simple. Sunny always seems to be happy when she goes in and is always healthy and happy when she leaves. I like that Janice is a working owner and that she personally takes care of much of the operation. The pricing is also on the lower side of what kennels in the area are charging. I highly recommend Long Last Kennel. Good service and good value.
Caves Valley is a great Kennel. My 4 year Cocker named Cal loves going there to see his friends. The staff is very nice and considerate. Making a reservation is relative easy by e-mail. They now have a groomer who comes there who had made Cal look very handsome.
I am so glad we found Long Last Kennels! We have been very cautious about boarding our sweet girl because Saluki’s have very unique temperaments and needs. When I saw that there were multiple Salukis I was shocked! Finally she has friends she can run and play with that can keep up with her (mostly - ha!) Janice (the NEW owner) is awesome and it truly feels like we’ve found a second home for our girl. Our pup loves dropping by for daycare and we never have to worry when we have to travel without her. It brings us tremendous peace of mind knowing they take care of our girl as if she were their own. When we pick her up, she is excited and exhausted! She is well cared for while she’s there and it shows. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for boarding or daycare or both, like us!
Let me start by saying the owner Chris genuinely cares for and loves dogs. She got teary eyed telling me about her multiple hip surgeries which prevent her from being active with her dogs. Chris is an expert on dogs and I don't take that away from her. Her front customer entrance is cute by the way. But with that being said, there are a few things you should know: If you are not familiar with the Owings Mills area, Chris's facility is in the rural part of Owings Mills. Be prepared for a drive. Chris's personality can take some getting used to. At times she can come off as a bit authoritative and her tone can be a bit snappy. I don't think she means any harm, but that's the way she talks and runs her business. Chris has regular clientele she has been doing business with for years. If you are a newcomer do not expect newcomer treatment. If you would like to make a reservation for your dogs for lets say Christmas, have a Plan B. Chris's long time clients have seniority. In other words, you will be put on a "waiting list" because they receive preferential treatment for the holidays. Understand you are on Chris's schedule and not the other way around. Chris recommends a temperament visit. I scheduled a free trial date with Chris, arrangements were made contingent on weather, and then I was told after reaching out again the day prior it was a no go because she was busy. I reached out again and was told to bring them another date which was not convenient for me. Chris is VERY concerned about how your pet will acclimate to her kennel. I believe you, the owner are also being "OBSERVED" as well. Once my small pets were brought in for a trial, I was told one of the pets would be an issue because she was shy and nervous. I get that Chris doesn't do leashes and was concerned that the pet may run off in the yard if left in her care, but considering it was within the first 25 minutes, MAYBE it was a bit overwhelming for the dog? Chris was informed on her extensive intake form this one pet needed reassurance when experiencing new places, but is comfortable once she warms up PRIOR to the visit. Chris had me step inside to allow the dogs to roam in my absence. An owner arrived to pick up his giant dog, the size of a linebacker, and apparently, one of my dogs saw it and ran and hid under something and would not come out. So, this was the catalyst for her telling me I should return another day and hinted that perhaps this would not be a good fit for her. Interestingly, she's telling me about the same owner's big dog that upon first visit refused to enter her facility. They had to take the dog in another route. I wonder if all this rhetoric about uneasiness applied to this dog? What I was not impressed with was one of the small dog yards directly outside of the client entrance. It was dirty which was the first turn off and I saw some dried up dog poop near one of the raggedy gates, a dead long warm on another side of the area, and a lot of moss development in the area. The dog "runs" did not appear to be dirty, but my first impression of the back yard was not good. When I asked if I could tour the facility she acted like it was a problem. "It's very messy right now...I guess...if you want to..." was the response I received. Not "Sure, we would love you to see where your dogs will be quartered!" When I told Chris I did not want the dogs to have treats during their stay you would have thought I said to euthanize them. Chris had a problem with that. Never mind that one of the dogs is on a diet or has a sensitive gut. Then, she suggested they go in separate runs because she was concerned that one dog would eat the other dog's food, despite the fact I never had an issue with this previously. In all my years of pet boarding with different places, I have never been so annoyed or bothered by the management/owner. Everything happens for a reason because I found another boarding place that suited my needs and gave zero problems.
My little guy has a tumor on his leg and we wanted a small business to get him groomed. When I called I could tell the owner was thoughtful in her concern for my dogs wellbeing. His grooming was quick about an hour and he looked very cute! Will use their services again.
Janice and her team have been providing wonderful care for our Scottie and Sealyham terriers many times over the past two years. They are always very excited to go to Caves Valley Pet Lodge. It is truly like going to doggie camp for them! They are always in great condition and spirits when we pick them up. It is very comforting to know they have a safe caring place to stay when we have to go out of town for an extended time.
