I had a lovely time taking care of Gary. He is very independent, friendly and has a wonderful character. I felt we became good friends during the time I was there. Nadia and Matt are very friendly and helpful. They were very good at communicating everything to me, and printed off their Welcome Guide so it was close to hand to refer to. Also, if I had any queries about Gary, they were easily available on WhatsApp to answer them. They have a lovely spacious home, with all mod cons, and a kitchen table overlooking an alpaca field, which was a perfect quiet place to sit while on your laptop. The village itself is very pretty and lovely to walk around, as is the surrounding area. I had a lovely cat-sit experience and I would happily recommend it to others.
We so enjoyed sitting Pika in Kitsilano! Anna is very organized from her detailed welcome guide to her established routine with Pika. Anna & John were always easy to communicate with & responsive. The apartment is clean & cozy. The neighborhood is fabulous. Pika took a few days to accept then we slowly fell in love with his big personality. He is a curious, fun cat who plays hide & seek & ping pong in the tub. We would gladly return to care for him & highly recommend this sit.
Zsanett and Zack are really generous, welcoming hosts. Their home is super cozy and clean and located in a really nice part of town. As for Charlie and Cody, they are the most adorable, well-behaved, lovable little dogs each with their own unique personality and they made us feel right at home! We would happily sit for them again if the opportunity arose!
Moose and Bear are super awesome dogs! Kurt and his wife are very kind and were super responsive to any questions. The house is really beautiful and the backyard is a zen oasis!
We endeavour to travel to different areas of the U.K. to experience those out of the way places which have character and charm and we certainly found it in Lustleigh. First the bungalow was beautiful with fantastic views from the elevated panoramic lounge doors over the valley. We visited Haytor and Castle Drogo... and along came Charlie. This cheeky little cockapoo was the best of the best about this perfect housesit. We both fell in love with him...so obedient and loving and as cute as a button! He loved his walks and there were plenty ...quirky trails and woods, areas to throw a ball and a new 4 mile or so cycle path to power walk or for those muddy days! Our hosts Jo and Steve were brilliant and couldn’t have been more welcoming. So good that we are back again later this year.
This was a wonderful sit. It was my first visit to Somerset and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. The town of Glastonbury and the famous Tor are a short drive from the house and I spent many happy hours here. Wells and Taunton markets are worth a visit and the nearby village of Somerton is quaint and welcoming. Greta's home is lovely. Very spacious and comfortable with everything you need. A quiet well kept garden is the perfect place to relax. Muffin and Alfie, the cats, are so easy to look after and great company. I didn't meet Greta's dog as she took him with her on her trip but I would be more than happy to look after him too. Greta is lovely and kept in touch before and during the sit answering any questions I had. I would love to come back.
