Sarah and Gerald made us incredibly welcome in their beautiful home. This is a gem of a sit. The dogs are affectionate, fun and each is a highly individualistic character which makes them endlessly fascinating to be with. We loved our time here and would happily return.
Jean and Willy are two of the nicest people we have ever house sat for. They are kind, considerate, and generous. Their pets, Maya and Roger, are just as wonderful. We feel like we've made life long friends with them. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We feel lucky to have met them and cared for their wonderful house and pets.
Our family had the best time loving on Georgia's full house of animals! Being able to sit for them, was just what my family needed and it was wonderful to get to serve them at the same time. Their property is like an oasis in the middle of the city. For our first time using this app, we couldn't have found a batter match with a beautiful family, absolutely cuddle filled animals and a beautiful home! Easy communication with family, they left lots of instructions and were available whenever we had questions. We really hope we can sit for them again!
A wonderful sit! We had a great time with Boeffie who is a really fun, loving character. Linda and Siep were gracious hosts who ensured we had everything we needed. Their beautiful home is in a peaceful quiet area of town but is an easy walk to shops and restaurants. And what a stunning view! We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend Linda and Siep as hosts.
I had the most amazing experience during my 5-month house sit in Puglia, starting from December. Everything about this sit was simply fantastic. Evita and Buck, the two dogs I had the pleasure of caring for, are truly remarkable and well-trained companions. I had an abundance of fun with them; Evita is incredibly sweet and loves cuddles, while Buck is like a big playful child. Manuela is an extraordinary person, and we formed a beautiful friendship during my stay. Charlie, her poodle, is dynamic and full of energy, adding to the joy of my experience. Winter in Puglia blessed me with the sight of mandarins and oranges, and witnessing the roses blooming brought me immense joy. Additionally, I appreciated the warm companionship of Rosa, the neighbor, with whom I enjoyed playing chess. The people in the area are wonderful, and the environment is both chill and lovely. Manuela's house, located in a suburban area with a large garden, offered all the comforts I needed, including high-speed wifi, air conditioning/heating, and a fully equipped kitchen. The serene surroundings near an ancient monastery provided ample opportunities for exploration with the dogs. The breathtaking views and stunning sunsets added to the magic of my stay. Chilling in the garden, reading a book while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, became one of my favorite pastimes. Furthermore, the convenience of being close to beautiful places like the Adriatic Sea, Lecce, and Brindisi allowed me to explore and enjoy the beauty of southern Italy. Manuela's house rules emphasized sustainability and responsible use of resources, which I fully respected. The routine with the dogs was enjoyable and flexible, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the beauty of southern Italy. Overall, my experience house sitting in Puglia was unforgettable, thanks to the delightful company of Evita, Buck, and Charlie, as well as the warmth and hospitality of Manuela and the local community. I am already looking forward to returning and will surely come back because I already miss you all! I am truly grateful for this experience!
I miss Tucker and Evelyn already! They are super sweet pups and marathon sleepers. Tucker is a sweet well manored big boy. He listens really well on walks and aims to please. I am convinced he is not aware that he is full grown yet (as demonstrated by sitting on Evelyn). It was a hot snap wile I was in town so we had short walks and they were worn out by a swing around the block Tamara's home is beautiful and sweet. Close to lots of hiking and amenities. It is a quiet area just 10-15 minutes from the airport. You do need a car to get around but everything is close!
