Laurie (Elizabeth Boone)
I left this review over a year ago, I'm not sure where TH sent that review...? Laurie (homeowner) and Sara (fur baby) are both fantastic and I had an amazing time doing a Christmas/New Year's sit here last year. The views from the house are phenomenal, with hiking trails right across the road. Sara is the sweetest, calmest dog you'll ever meet. While she may not say much or be as animated as some dogs--she really enjoys being petted and will 'ask' you for more pets by moving her paw like she wants to shake hands. She's also quite energetic in the mornings. She is absolutely one of the easiest and best dogs I've cared for.

Laurie is an incredibly considerate homeowner--leaving treats for you at the house, very easy to communicate with before and after, and all information provided in advance as well.

Wouldn't hesitate to sit for Laurie and Sara again.

We absolutely loved our time at Karen & Mark’s, looking after Poppy and Jake! They are both friendly cats that love a fuss and to play. We were also lucky enough to meet Sam, as well as Cocopops who lives nearby.

Jake loves to venture outside most of the day and Poppy likes to chill out in the house. They both let us know when they need our attention, whether it’s food or cuddles. Poppy is very calm when administering the injections, so it was easy and simple to do.

The information that Karen gave us was very detailed and useful. The communication before and during the sit was perfect as well.

The house is located in a nice quiet area of Putney with a lovely garden, where we spent a lot of time with the cats in the sun.

Karen & Mark are very generous when it comes to feeding wildlife. They prepared food for us to put out for foxes each day, and lots different nuts and seeds for birds and squirrels that visit the gardens.

Thanks again guys for letting us stay and for the bottle of wine too!

All the best,
Matt & Hyemin

I loved this sit in Chinley. It's a beautiful house in a lush location. Gwyn is a special cat who I found it very easy to bond with. She was quite independent and out on adventures but when home liked to cuddle up. I was without a car and was able to make use of the nearby train station to visit family in Sheffield and went on some great walks in the local area. Communication was straightforward and timely. Thanks to Liz and family for sharing your home and cat :)

This was one of our favourite sits! Rosie and Lily are absolute sweethearts, over the top affectionate but also obedient. Couldn’t be easier to look after. The chickens were simple and produced a LOT of eggs. We had so much fun taking the dogs for morning walks - they traveled really well in their crate so we explored the trails in the area and we all had a great time.

Lovely peaceful retreat, while doing some work in Oxford. Spacious and relaxing house, especially for you if you love reading. The cats were no trouble at all. They were lovely company. Enjoyed my stay

My time in Cambridge taking care of Rocky, Pippi, Boris for Anna and Roman was truly beautiful! Anna and Roman are the most welcoming, warm, easygoing, open minded, thoughtful, and kind power couple you could ask for as hosts! They made sure I felt comfortable and taken care of even before my stay began and left no question unanswered. The communication prior to my arrival as well as during their travels was always easy and helpful. My dinners with them were absolutely inspiring and they have the best stories to tell from all their exciting numerous travels.
Rocky and Pippi are two easy to take care for retired oldies with warm personalities and the biggest eyes full of love. Short walks, independent garden time, food and their cuddles are all they need and other than that they sleep most of the time. They appreciate attention but don’t ask for it are well trained. Boris is an elegant lady spider that requires literally no work but is mesmerising and fascinating to observe which was a wonderful experience for me. The happy chickens are self sufficient and provide you with probably the best eggs you’ll have had in a ling time!
Their clean well taken care of house has everything to make you feel cosy and is located in a quiet residential area in Cambridge that has easy access to the city center by foot or bus. I loved my time house sitting for Anna and Roman and hope I will have an opportunity to be see them again soon. I will miss the pugs and their companions dearly!
