Nicholas and Sarah were fun. Yahtzee is such a pleasure to hang with. The home was beautiful the neighbors were sweet ! I would sit again 🤍
Nicky, Annie, Harvey, and Lillou are the ABSOLUTE BEST. Our walks with Harvey brought us so much joy (and many compliments from strangers, he IS the cutest cocopoo in Edinburgh!). And Lillou is very beautiful and independent - a breeze to care for (and on the few occasions she'll permit you to pet her, it's the bee's knees!). Both pets are so much fun to be around - and an absolute delight to watch over. You're in for cuddles and playtime with the most lovely pets! Their home is perfect. We're remote workers and found all the amenities A+++ for our jobs and personally enjoyed the kitchen where we cooked and baked our favorite foods. So spacious and comfortable - while we were welcomed around the entire home, we basically had our own flat within their property (private living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom) - and the privacy of our own space was very generous and appreciated! The location of the home is central - if you enjoy nature you're very close to big parks, the canal, Holyrood Park, etc.. If you're a foodie - there are lots of delicious restaurants to enjoy a few steps away from the home. Also, attractions like Edinburgh Palace, the Royal Mile, etc. are all walking distance away - and we were lucky to enjoy it with our tour guide Harvey during our daily walks! While our housesit didn't last very long due to COVID, we felt very fortunate to have met Nicky and her family. They are among the world's most lovely and kindest people - and we can't thank them enough for inviting us into their home and lives!
