Max is very reliable and tidy. He is also a good communicator. I really appreciated the updates and photos he provided throughout his stay. Max is welcome to petsit for me again!

Zander was an excellent sitter! He left our house in excellent condition. The sheets and towels were cleaned and the bed was remade. Everything was left as it was when we left. Our pets and plants were all happy when we returned. Zander was great about communication and getting back to us when we had questions. He had an issue with our oven and he was very flexible and gracious about it and said it wasn't an issue.

I did mark cleanliness down a little because the bathroom sink wasn't cleaned quite to my standard. Also we had a miscommunication about the cat litter. However, overall we were very pleased and would definitely have him back!

Ore-doggone pawsome sit with sweet Pepper! First, Kay & Dale are wonderful hosts — communication, instructions, clean/tidy home (and lots of extras!) were all top-notch. The king bed was oh-so-comfy for fantastic sleeping with cool mountain air. And floating in the pool wasn’t too bad either. Their flowers are stunning.
Second, there’s so much to see and do around Welches. Our faves were Mt Hood, Hood River/the Fruit Loop, lakes, and waterfalls. We also enjoyed the many restaurants.
Third, but definitely a GOLD MEDAL, not bronze, was quintessential Frenchie Miss Pepper (i.e., Pep, Pepperoni, Peppy). She warmed up to us quickly and showed us her beautiful neighborhood. Pepper snores rhythmically as all Frenchie’s do, but she didn’t disturb us and was quite funny at times. She was great in the car, and on a coolish day led us to a lovely waterfall. (We went by ourselves to Multnomah Falls and that’s a must-see!)
It was our first trip to the Pacific Northwest … and we hope it won’t be our last. Kay, Dale & Pepper are family now!

I had a wonderful time at Lulu and Paul’s house looking after Elsie, there’s so many great things to say - where do I begin!

Elsie is a very sweet, loyal, protective, and easy to care for dog. She will not leave your side, and warms to you quickly. By night 3 she was sleeping right next to me on my bed, I felt she was taking care of me the same way I was taking care of her! :)

She is the first dog I’ve sat for that I felt completely comfortable having off leash in the park as she is well trained and well behaved- you don’t need to worry about her running away or fighting with other dogs.

Despite being older she has lots of energy loves to play. She will stop and take a rest when she needs to, we spent lots of time just sitting in the park watching the world go by- she will let you know when she’s ready to chase the ball again!

Elsie and Paul are very kind people, I felt very comfortable in their home and company. Their house is immaculate and dreamy, it has everything you need. The guest bedroom is very comfortable and beautiful, with a great ensuite, you will love it! There is also a terrace, Elsie and I enjoyed basking in the sun up there, it’s a lovely spot!

Thanks again Lulu and Paul, I look forward to sitting for you again next time our schedules align! 🩵

Margaret (Maggie)
Maggie’s large suburban home is clean and tidy with all the mod cons, and beautifully situated on a large lake. A wall of windows provides views of geese, ducks and swans. She is a thorough communicator and generous hostess. The cats are both sweet-natured. Bang-bang, affectionately known as BB, delights in a brushing and back and belly rubs. Taisce is a lively, curious kitty who is happy with any attention. Playing, stroking, brushing…she’s just wants to be close. We enjoyed our time with them and would recommend this sit to others.
