I took the prior reviews lightly and decided to apply for this sit. He had the cleaners come by before I arrived. I'm glad I did this stay for him. Cute bungalow just a short walking distance to trails and the ocean when you can watch the surfers. All of his pets were fun to watch, especially the 2 guinea pigs! I would not hesitate to stay here again. He keeps asking and I'm just never available as I have been booked solid but one of these days, James, I hope to return and sit for you again!
This was such a wonderful housesit! We immediately fell in love with sweet and affectionate Todo and we enjoyed the many walks we had with him. Marja’s and Ronald’s place is lovely with breathtaking views of the river and their apartment is wonderfully situated close to shopping and restaurants and almost anything else that you would need. The river walk is two minutes from the apartment and we spent many hours walking there with Todo. There is so much happening along this river - exercising, dancing, music and various other activities. Each day it was a cultural feast for our senses ! And Marja and Ronald could not have been nicer. They are both very kind, considerate and thoughtful. We have no hesitation in recommending them -and Todo of course- if you want an amazing house and pet sit.
Our site at Sharon’s place was a delight from the beginning to the end. Sharon has a cheerful and welcoming temperament. She took great care of us by preparing a lovely dinner for our arrival, and took the time to introduce us to all the neighbours who showed us around the village and invited us for a hike. We were also touched to see that she had put a lot of energy into making sure the house was spotless following some construction work. Sharon's house is a rare gem overlooking the rainforest and magnificent Lake Arenal. Her house is also heavenly with its swimming pool “with a view” and everything you may need. As for the dogs, Maggie and Sparkle are super easy and cute little dogs. They took a little time to get used to the idea that their mother had left them in the hands of two total strangers (it must be said that it was the first time) then they ended up adopting us as their French nanny :-) If you have the chance to look after Sharon's furry family, you can go there with your eyes closed. It’s one of the best sites we’ve made in 15 months!
We had a lovely stay at Fiona and David’s beautiful home. They both spent time to thoroughly show us around and we felt very welcome. Moffie and Nessa are both gorgeous and gentle and got along with our dog Bella very well. A really enjoyable stay in a lovely location.
It was great staying at Ana's and Thiago's place, they are very sweet people, communication with them was always fluent and pleasant. The place is very comfortable and the neighbourhood is lovely. Vincent and Mia are chill cats, easy to look after. I'm glad I did this sitting :)
I only got to spend one night with Rheah, but she warmed up to me quickly. She’s very playful and has lots of personality! This is a great sit in Oakland’s emerging entertainment district within a complex that has excellent amenities. I also really enjoyed having some time to get to know James who is involved in interesting research. I would recommend without hesitation.
