I've felt really glad to take care of Lilly and Remy. Julie was very kind and gave me a warm welcome. Her place is really cozy, has a beautiful garden that I enjoyed watering and staying in the balcony with the kitties . They are gorgeous, too sweet and a nice company. Julie explained me very well everything, the sit was perfectly organized with clear and complete instructions. We had a fluently communication, that was very positive. She allow me to use the facilities of her flat, something really useful for my back and I enjoyed taking some time for relaxing. Epping is really nice, quiet and safe. Our stay at Melanie and Callie's house in Manchester was simply wonderful! From the moment we had our first video call, we noticed how attentive and kind they were. Upon arrival, they greeted us with gifts, sweets, and delicious cookies typical of their country. The communication with them was smooth and constant throughout our stay. They were always willing to help us and provide any information we needed. They truly made us feel at home. But not only did we enjoy the hospitality of Melanie and Callie, we also fell in love with Mila, their adorable dog. Mila is simply charming. She is a big dog who behaves as if she were a baby🤗. Throughout the day, we would see her walking around the house with a plush toy in her mouth, which was truly adorable. Although Mila can be a bit shy on the first day, we quickly connected with her and became great friends. Mila is calm and well-behaved. We greatly enjoyed our walks together. Taking care of Mila was a real pleasure, and we would love to have the opportunity to do it again in the future❤️. We want to thank Melanie and Callie for trusting us to take care of their beautiful home and Mila. It was an incredible experience, and we feel truly fortunate to have met them. Thank you very much for everything!
Julie & Jake had not had THS sitters before, so we were anxious to put their minds at rest. However, they are very relaxed people with a laid-back, positive outlook and had prepared for us with the foresight & expertise of old hands. Their Welcome Guide was excellent and comprehensive. Their advance communication was clear and they knew exactly what sitters hope to have at a sit. Their lovely house was sparklingly ready for us, we were given our own en-suite room with plenty of wardrobe & drawer space and lots of fridge & freezer space in the kitchen too, which is always much appreciated. Dartmouth is very pretty and has multitudes of excellent walks by the river and coast. We brought our car but the local bus is on the doorstep and will take you down into town or the other way to Sainsbury’s. Getting to all the further attractions & Percy’s favourite walks probably needs a car. If Julie and Jake are five-star owners, then Percy (the impossibly glossy black Labrador) is in a constellation of his own. He was just about 2 years old when we met him and a perfect mix of well trained, well behaved teenager and delightful puppy. He is the most loving and lovable companion who loves to chase a ball on the beach all day but also really wants to bring you his teddy and sleep on your lap (he’s not quite convinced that he really is too big for that!) We are sure that anyone lucky enough to care for Percy will fall as hopelessly in love with him as we did; we miss him enormously.
Wendy, Ian, and Zoe were the sweetest, most welcoming hosts ever. Their house is a beautifully renovated old home in a very sweet neighborhood, and everything was so thoughtfully arranged for a guest. They even left some lovely welcoming gifts. They gave extremely careful instructions, and were wonderful communicators. Unfortunately, I took a fall on a trail in the woods while I was staying there (not on their property!) and broke my ankle. Wendy and Ian were so kind and allowed my friends to stay at their house when they came to help me. Zoe is welcoming, independent, and was so easy to care for. I can’t recommend this nice sit enough. The town is lovely and this household lovelier.
Humphrey, Hazel and little Charlie were such a pleasure to take care of. They each have such different and unique personalities! Humphrey is a big boy, and the boss - he LOVES his food and a cuddle! Hazel is the sweetest angel and loves to snuggle up close. Charlie is full of beans and energy and I have to say - the cutest voice and little moustache EVER, and sneaks in for a (very welcome) cuddle at night! Melanie and G are just lovely and very communicative. Their bright sunny apartment is situated in a great place in Manly, close enough to be within short walking distance of the wharf where you can take the ferry straight to the city, or a ten minute walk to the hub of central Manly. And far enough away to avoid noise as it’s situated on a quiet street tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely return 🤍🖤🤎🧡
I thoroughly enjoyed staying with Squid, Blue and Bao. Squid is sweet and was like my little shadow for the stay. Blue and Bao warmed up after spending some time with them but are otherwise quite happy together. All three pets are easy to manage and the house was lovely, clean and cosy with everything I needed for my time. Hannah was super friendly and awesome to communicate with from the get go. I would definitely recommend this sit to others.
