We feel so incredibly lucky! Virginia quickly became a friend, and we didn’t even get the chance to meet in person (but I’m sure we will one day!). She was such a wonderful pet parent for our cat Butters. We had an unexpected power outage, and Virginia was incredibly patient, understanding and collaborative, despite it being pretty inconvenient for her (we felt so bad). She took such great care of our home, leaving it even cleaner than how she received it. I can’t recommend her enough; and I can’t wait for her to come sit for us again hopefully!
The ladies were great , very self sufficient and organized, we had no issues. Ziggy seems to have been happy to stay with them and well taken care of . They sent me a picture every day to make sure I am at peace.
Edelma was fantastic. She visited before the sit to meet me and Lou. She interacted with him very well and had a good technique to calm him down when he was overly excited. She arrived early the day of the sit, per my request, to be able to get Lou used to her before I travelled. She communicated very well during the sit and gave me periodic updates. She also left the house cleaner than I left it and I cleaned it top to bottom. She did some cleaning that I didn't expect and was delighted at how clean my home was. I would definitely use Edelma again.
Keeping schedule with Bella and Coltrane is a must at this house sit. When feeding time, have the food ready. ½ hour late, I started preparing their food as both sat on their haunches, heads turned, Bella glaring, Coltrane loudly voicing his displeasure! Only happened once! Well located house in the Proctor district. Boutique stores, upscale markets and a 1.5 mile walking trail all nearby. Clean and well-appointed, the house accommodated the small family gathering we had for the Thanksgiving holiday. Great place, 4 star rated!
