Lisa was a wonderful Housesitter. She had to deal with a hot water tank that suddenly broke down, with a dominant Mastin Español and with all our pets - 3 dogs, 2 of our own cats and many stray cats and 2 different groups of chickens - but she dealt with it all, the animals loved her including the chickens! When we got back the house was clean and tidy and happy contented animals. Lisa even left us a beautiful painting. We would throughly recommend Lisa.

We love having Jason take care of our fur babies! He communicates well, sends pictures, and lets us know how they're doing. Leaves the house in perfect order. Would absolutely recommend him!

Gisele and her husband were great! I threw a curve ball at them when I ended up getting foster puppies a few days before their visit. They took them out every few hours and did have to deal with some mess by the pups. They were reliable, I came home to clean house, and happy animals.

Deborah and Max were amazing. I was completely comfortable being out of the country and having them stay with my babies. They even got my one cat to come out of hiding which no one can. They communicated every day and were so great to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to have them with any pets and any house. Absolutely wonderful people.

Kristen and PJ were wonderful! If they apply to your sit, definitely select them. They were easy to communicate with, really sweet, and went above and beyond for our dog Linda. They handled dealing with a few logistical challenges on our end, since we were having them pass Linda off to some other friends, with ease. Linda had a great time and they left the place super tidy and even left a little gift <3 We'd love to have them back if our schedules ever aligned!

Reg

This is the second time Reg has looked after my cat, Kenya, and my house for over a month. He sent regular updates with lots of photos of Kenya who was obviously very relaxed. I came home to a house cleaner than I left it, and he even left some food for me in the fridge! I would definitely recommend Reg to anyone.

Ayla and Owen were a fantastic fit for us. They looked after doing very well. We couldn’t ask for anything better. We would love to have them back and we wish them well.

LT was very knowledgeable about how to handle pets to make our 3 dogs comfortable with her. This was our first time with a sitter so that was a different experience for our dogs to adjust to a sitter in the house taking care if them. Everything went well, LT sent updates daily with pictures so we could see how well our dogs were doing. LT communicated well before, during, and throughout the sit. Once the sit was over, we came home to find the house was as nice and tidy as we left it. The dogs were in great spirits and well adjusted as if we never left. Thanks LT.

We loved having Michele stay with our pets! Our dog Lulu was in love with her from the first day and our persnickety cat even loved on her. Michele was thoughtful about our pets, the house, and managed to keep the whole household functional amidst one of the strongest heat waves we’ve had in this area in years. Max and Avery are great sitters. Our dog Blue is completely relaxed and comfortable when we get home after she’s been in their care. She just thinks they’re family now. Our home is always in great condition just like we left it upon our return. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

Elizabeth and Matthew sat our Golden Retriever and Jack Russel for a week while we were away. I can only describe them as outstanding in EVERY way. They arrived the night before we left and had pizza with us so we could show them around and get to know them. They were conscientious, experienced, organized, thoughtful and treated our home and pets as if they were their own! They even went so far to have breakfast for us the morning after our return since we didn't get home until 1:30 am!! They communicated situations while we were away - like the power going out - and kept us informed on our pets. When we returned, Matthew had typed up some pointers for future housesitter on our pets and things that worked well for them since both our pups are friendly and adorable but are very high energy dogs. We look forward to having this couple back again and can't say enough good things.

Natalia and Antoine are excellent petsitters. From our initial video chat to our arrival home their communication was perfect. The pets were all very well cared for and exercised. They were adept at keeping our sneaky cat indoors which is always a challenge. They are lovely warm and caring people and we highly recommend them.

Incredible stay with Loki and Sam! First of all, Sam is such a fantastic host from beginning to end—thoughtful, kind, and excellent in communication. She provided thorough explanations about everything in their home and the building, along with a detailed welcome guide. I truly appreciate also the welcome pack present.

She gave me clear instructions for Loki, who is adorable. He is the best company at home, always staying close and happy to receive cuddles. I've really enjoyed the time I've spent with him, he is super friendly and quickly gains confidence 🤍 Three meals per day, but Sam has an automatic dispenser to help you with the task.

Sam’s apartment is lovely and comfortable, situated in Newstead with plenty of cafes and an incredible atmosphere. The apartment itself is spacious, well-equipped with all amenities, and beautifully designed. Plus, the building offers a swimming pool and gym.

I would definitely recommend sitting for Loki and would be incredibly happy to help Sam again!

We had a wonderful stay in Charlotte’s house ! Her cat Romeo is absolutely lovable, we spent a lot of time with him, he’s very affectionate and needs love ! Although ours was a relatively short sit, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Koula & Dave’s lovely open-plan home.
Max and Lola were a joy to look after. As was Izzy the gerbil. Our only disappointment was that Peanut and Minstrel were just warming to our presence when it was time for us to leave. 
Thank you Koula and Dave for making us feel so welcome and we hope to see you again in the not-too-distant future.

Just wrapped up a lovely sit in Deb’s historic DC home! 

The house itself is in the beautiful, quiet neighborhood of Cleveland Park, just a few minute’s walk down to the Metro and local shops, which includes everything from a Target, to bars and restaurants, pharmacy, grocery stores, dry cleaner, etc., and also very near Rock Creek Park with its lovely trails for hiking. And of course easy access to all of DC and its many wonders. 

We very much enjoyed the occasional outdoor fire in Deb’s cozy backyard, or mornings under the pine on the covered front porch enjoying coffee. 

Lucy is an absolute dream! Shy for the first few days, then comes around quickly, and it was such a pleasure becoming friends with this sweet girl—truly one of the sweetest cats we’ve sat. She loves her treats and her brushing and lots of time relaxing with her humans!

Deb was such a pleasure to work with—and we thank her for trusting us with her home as she went clear across the globe! She was a great and swift communicator, always quick to respond if any issues arose, and took plenty of time to give us a thorough rundown of the house on her departure.

We would recommend this sit, and we, ourselves, are already planning to come back in January!

I had an amazing time sitting at Amy's home. Her place is very nice and decorated with books and items she's collected from her travels. Her home is clean, cozy and very spacious. Wi-Fi was strong throughout the home and her central heating/cooling system made it very comfortable. Amy introduced me to her friends, who were incredibly welcoming. They showed me around, took me to BBQs and even a Dodgers game. Thanks to Amy, I can say I made some great friends of my own. Amy allowed me to use her beautiful car to get around. Groceries are a 5-minute drive, and the gym is a short drive on the freeway.

As for Steve, he is just the best cat. Very low maintenance with a simple feeding routine. Unlike many cats I've sat for, Steve didn't have a single accident. He is very well litter trained. He followed me around the house while I worked. He likes to hang around but never bothers you and is happy when you pet him. I miss him already and am looking forward to seeing him soon.
