We suddenly discovered another part of the neighbourhood on this sit! How amazing that just 10mins walk from our home were allotments, chickens and views that we were totally unaware of previously (we’ve only lived in this area for 35 years!.) We had the absolute pleasure of caring for Russti, the one year old Cavapoo, the most adorable and sweet natured pooch we’ve met, and one year old Bengal cats, Mac and Trev. Boy! Are these cute, Mac: shy and a little apprehensive at first, with the most beautiful blue eyes and Trev, confident, sassy and knows just what she wants! Such characters! Russti will follow you like she’s your shadow, snuggle up next to you wherever you are and be your bedside companion. She loves the attention and will be your alarm clock in the morning by licking your ears and face to death! She’d also make a great hot water bottle for the winter months. She loved her squeaky dog and playing with her hairy tuggy toy, and really enjoyed a half hour playtime with the little dog next door. Mac and Trev both joined Russti on the evening walk, keeping close by and amusing us no end with their antics enroute; we laughed a lot! Fiona was warm, friendly and welcoming to her stunning home and her furry babies. She was super organised with a detailed and witty digital Welcome Pack. Communication was excellent from beginning to end, and to stay there felt like staying in a 5* home with exquisite and elegant attention to detail and a pretty south-facing garden. The kitchen and conservatory was THE place to be, and we thoroughly enjoyed having the responsibility and pleasure of looking after her home and her pets. Thank you for inviting us to sit. We’d definitely recommend Fiona, Russti, Mac and Trev to anyone who’d like to sit for them. And we’d definitely jump at the chance to sit again!

Staice's home was clean and tidy, a lovely old Queenslander to boot. Ringo and Felix are absolute characters and Dallas is the SWEETEST girl you'll ever meet! Staice left VERY clear instructions to guide the running of her home and her communication throughout the trip was excellent. 10/10 would sit again
I had a wonderful stay at Keri’s house taking care of Buddy and Oscar. I didn’t really see Oscar that much, he would normally show up late in the night, eat his food and leave- a truly self sufficient gentleman. Buddy is the complete opposite, he craves attention, long walks, cuddles and playing with his ball. He was super friendly to me from the first time we saw each other. Buddy is well trained, so when taking him on long walks I wouldn’t have a problem letting him of the lead, as he would always come back whenever I asked. The house is well located, there is bus stop less than a minute walking distance. There is a local pub with lovely people, good food and drinks. The only thing to remember is that there is no shop, so potential hosts might need to bring food with them or be ready to take a bus/drive to the closest town, which not far away. P.S. Keri, thank you really much for trusting me with your pets. I truly had a great experience.
Winston was an absolute delight to look after - a very clever and sweet dog. We wish we could have looked after him for longer! Alana's house is also lovely, only a short drive from town on one side, and nature on the other. Would absolutely recommend house sitting for her.
