We could not have asked for a better pair of pet parents than Claire and Simon. They are super reliable and pet loving people, very experienced in moving into a new home and working out what is needed. Claire was great at communicating both before and during the house sit which put our minds at rest while we were away. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a house sitter.
Jill has been a fantastic sitter. From our first communication she came across as warm, caring and well organised. She was in fact amazing. Especially when one of the cats who had a long term illness took a turn for the worse...Jill kept me up to date, took him to vet appointments, cooked him up whole buffets of special meals to try and tempt him, gave him lots of extra love and gently let me know when I needed to think about coming home to see him for our last goodbyes. She made it easy for me to come home by offering to go away for a couple of nights and then stayed on for some extra time to look after Muddy, the remaining cat so I could finish the job I was away working on. As well as looking after the house immaculately and leaving it spotless Jill also did some much needed and very appreciated tidying in the garden, where despite its obvious chaos she was careful to consult with me on what she did to make sure she wouldn't be upsetting me. All the house plants are also healthy after my absence of a month. It was also really nice that she made the most of being in the local area and got out and about exploring and even joined a local woodland volunteer group. Jill is competent, responsible, friendly, interesting and interested, clean and tidy, loves what she does and above all is deeply caring of the animals she is looking after. I'd definitely have her back and would recommend her to anyone looking for a great sitter.
