We had a wonderful time sitting here, looking after the lovely Lettie and Beetle. They are both real characters in different ways but easy to look after. There are so many wonderful places to walk them in the vicinity. Chrissie and Jules are great hosts and made us very welcome in their beautiful home. We would recommend this sit to anyone that gets the opportunity and would be very happy to sit here again.
Jayne and Dave are very welcoming and generous hosts. Their beautiful house is warm and spacious, with a lovely sunny patio garden. The is adequate safe, off road parking and they let us put our bikes in their garage. They invited us to stay the day before they left to introduce us to Kiri, show us their home and give us a tour, with Kiri, of the lovely friendly town of Nantwich. We ended up in one of the many pubs in Nantwich and really got to know one another as well as learning about Kiri's routine and needs, as well as information re the town, area, walks, and places to visit.Jayne had cooked us a lovely meal and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Kiri is an absolute joy to look after and we felt very privileged to do so. We have never looked after a rough collie before , but we would jump at the chance to look after Kiri again or other rough collies, such was our wonderful experience with her. Jayne and Dave's communication was first class from the first contact and throughout the sit, despite the 5 hour difference. They were 5* hosts and Kiri is a 5* 🦮. We can't recommend this sit highly enough.
John and Sam were wonderful hosts. They were clear in their communications about the quirks of the house and what was expected with Rafiki, their 1 year old lab. We thoroughly enjoyed their lovely home in the country, the quaint town of Marlborough and all the fantastic nearby walks, including an epic one to Avebury. We would certainly sit for them again.
We had a lovely three nights staying at May's home just outside Shepton Mallet, looking after her sweet cat Kiki. We had good regular communication before and during the stay, and May welcomed us on arrival and showed us around, including Kiki's routine, which we really appreciated. May's home is a small, charming and historic two storey thatched cottage which dates back centuries. Kiki is quite shy, but over a couple of days became confident enough to sit with us on the sofa to be stroked. She is very self-sufficient and just comes in occasionally to eat and sleep. The area is wonderful, and we particularly enjoyed visiting Wells and its cathedral. Thank you, May!
We had a fantastic time house sitting for Donna and Wayne. They are such kind, friendly and welcoming people and made us feel at home instantly. We were lucky enough to meet their daughter and grandson as well and they just felt like instant friends. Donna and Wayne are very considerate people and you will feel very appreciated as a house sitter. They were so thoughtful with our needs and had vegetarian food for us, got us our first A&W veggie burgers and even made sure that they had fast wifi for us to use. They really went above and beyond for us and we are very grateful to them! They were very clear and communicative with everything from the start, and answered any questions we had. The housesit was straightforward and they left us a fantastic guide to the house with all relevant information and numbers, etc. They have a beautiful home that we felt very lucky to get to stay in. It is located in a great part of Ottawa - a quick drive to the center but away from the bustle. Don’t hesitate to apply to this housesit, it will be one of your best ones! My sit was amazing!!! I fell in love with Beasley and the amazing house that she lives in Ethan and his wife are magic with making the most with a space and I hope I can watch Beasley again on their next adventure!!! Can not recommend this opportunity enough!
