Christine is a remarkable, gentle, competent person and clearly an animal lover. My cats Mochi and Nori seemed happy and content under her care. I'm sure my kitties were needy as usual, lol, but Christine handled them like a pro!! My home was SO very clean when I returned home. Communication was smooth. She seemed to really enjoy her time with the kitties and it was a treat to meet her! I'd have her back anytime--she is a wonderful human and sitter, and there is nothing like the peace of mind someone like her can provide. Thank you Christine!!
We had Tyler stay at our home two times for about 2 weeks each stay. He did an exceptional job caring for my home and our girl Margie while we were away! Prior to his stay he came to have the girls meet and get to know our home. They warmed up quickly. While away, he was very communicative. He sent daily pictures of the girls out and about, walking and playing. My girl LOVES playing and is an only child, so we are pretty sure she probably had more fun playing with Lola than hanging out with our boring selves. :-) We came home to a happy, healthy pup and a well kept home. I’d highly recommend Tyler to care for your pet and home while you are away!
We had such a lovely experience taking care of Cedar, Siena and Milo. They were the easiest pets to keep happy and warmed up to us almost immediately. All three loved snuggling up by the fire with us. Milo was very agreeable about going out to potty and the kitties were adorably inquisitive in just about everything we did. The house is amazing and we barely left at all as the property offered us everything we could desire, from the trails to the fire pit to the grill and, of course, the hot tub. We traveled quite a distance for this sit but concluded we would readily do it again in a heartbeat. Ironically the owners headed to our state so it was nice to hear they enjoyed their time as well. -John & Haley
A pet lovers paradise! Teddy, Estella, Lilica, Vai, Link, and Lego are an adorable bunch of characters and all incredibly cute! We had so much fun hanging out with these guys and getting to enjoy a gorgeous part of Kyoto! Nami and Satoshi were amazing hosts and made us feel totally welcome in their home - they left detailed instructions for everything we needed, were always available when we needed to contact them, and helped us navigate a trip to the vet. We highly recommend this house sit to any other pet sitters and we wouldn't hesitate to come back and stay again in the future! :)
Our stay in Patsy & Graham's charming home was pure joy from start to finish with 2 interesting young dogs and 3 very beautiful long haired cats to entertain us during our recent sit. The 5 pets were all unique with their own needs and desires from giving breakfast to the dogs by 7.30 in the morning, with the cats appearing at different times and pleading for food. Long walks with the two dogs in nearby forest and woodland areas, where they could romp around off lead and reappear for a treat or some love and attention. In the afternoon a shorter walk to a nearby coffee house who provided chilled fresh water and various things that had to be sniffed. After supper the dogs settled down in the living room to snooze whilst the TV was on, the cats came and went but often needed the front door opened to go out to evening fun & games. So very much connection and attention, giving us heaps of pleasure. The home and garden is well equipped and has all kinds of items to make one feel very comfortable and happy. Pure joy and the time raced by very quickly.
Rachel & Andy (and Sherlock & Juniper) are the coolest! They provided excellent communication before the sit (we did a FaceTime call to go over a couple details). They went above and beyond and sent some of the best local recommendations for coffee, food, breweries, etc. during the sit. Their Home Guide was very clear and concise and they answered questions quickly. Their home was clean and super cozy. I loved the living room set up for lounging around and the kitchen countertops were perfect for working remotely. I had a few errands to take care of throughout the week and they were very understanding of me being away for a bit. Sherlock & Juniper are very sweet cats and cuddled a bunch. Juniper took a little time to warm up but eventually hung out. Sherlock loved bird watching and was chatty. The water fountain and automatic food dispenser were a bonus. The litter genie was also a great addition. It was the perfect winter getaway from the city. The trees, peace, and quiet were just what I was looking for. Couldn’t recommend them enough and🤞will sit again soon!
Amazing place and wonderful people!
It all started with a great welcome from Kathy and Pete. I arrived the day before they were due to leave which was good. Gave us the chance to really connect and to go over the necessary details in a relaxed manner which included a lovely evening meal. I was introduced to Wendy, their friend who was so friendly and generous with her time, taking me to the supermarket and out on couple of days sight seeing. The house was very comfortable and easy to maintain. Lovely seating area outside which was perfect as the weather was sunny. The location was peaceful and a short walk from the sea. The railway station was a 10min walk away. The main reason for being there, was of course, Mindy and Rodney who were equally welcoming. Very easy going dogs who became my best friends very quickly. Rodney in particular, he was my constant companion. They were easy to look after and a joy to be with, bringing smiles and laughter to my days. I would definitely return if time and plans allow. Thank you Kathy and Pete for having me as your sitter and for your kindness and generosity. Thanks to Wendy also. x
