We had the great pleasure of looking after Max the cat and Jan’s house in late July. Jan is great fun, communicated really well and her house and garden are gorgeous! We were able to stay a night before and after the official sit which was enjoyable, and helpful for us. Max is very easy to look after- we, and he, particularly enjoyed the brief moments we decided to brush him but he also loved just sleeping in his chair outside or inside. Woodford Green is easily accessible to London- we just walked or caught the local bus to the Woodford tube station. Thank you Jan and Max! I would recommend applying for this sit at any time.
Charlie the cat is very friendly and affectionate. He is a wonderful companion and it was an absolute delight to spend time and cuddle with him. He has excellent litter box and grooming habits, and is low maintenance. Communication with Charlotte was great before and during the sit. She was very helpful, thoughtful, generous and welcoming. I really appreciated her clearing some space in her closet and drawers so I could feel more at home. Her apartment is lovely and located in a beautiful area of Seattle that has wonderful architecture and gorgeous trees. It is also close to a vibrant area of restaurants & shops with quick easy public transportation to downtown Seattle and other parts of Seattle. I highly recommend this sit. Thank you so much Charlotte and Charlie. Would love to sit again for you.
We thoroughly enjoyed looking after Hector who is the most gentlest and chilled dog we've ever met. Our first encounter with a Deerhound and he stole our hearts! Karen and Andrew are a lovely couple and very welcoming into their home which is surrounded by stunning scenery, perfect for walking and deer spotting, which Hector thoroughly enjoyed!! The weather was stunning, it was so peaceful, relaxing and we loved it.
Great house, they were super welcoming and left space for us to store things. Cats were great and well behaved.
Lisa & Nigel were very welcoming and a lovely couple. We loved their English cottage, heaps of character and so lovely, warm, and very cosy. Great location and a very pretty area. A great pub on the corner, which we enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast. Purdey and Gizmo were easy care, a delight to look after, and play with. Gizmo had an extra talent, and could have been Houdini in a previous life. (first night we barricaded the cat door, a instructed but forgot to put the added play gym against the door) Needless to say we did not get caught again Would highly recommend this sit and look forward to catching up with Lisa & Nigel in NZ later this year.
I had a lovely time looking after Cookie for Hannah. She is such a sweet cat and I really did feel sad when I was driving away from the house. Hannah left a folder of information about the house and cookie. As well and things to do in the area...I managed to have a spa day!!!! You probably need a car to get the best of the area but you could get about on a bike or walk. The house was very comfortable and it was lovely sitting outside in the sunshine watching the world go by and listening to the birds. A lovely sit and would highly recommend it. Thanks Hannah
