Kat was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend her for looking after your house and pets. Kat came to look after our chicken, two huskies and highly strung Hussie dog for one week and I was so happy with the level of care that Kat provided. Hussie can be very jumpy and takes a while to warm up to people, this was no problem for Kat who took the time to let Hussie come round to her. A few days in she was already walking all three of them at the same time which is not an easy task. The house was so clean and tidy when we returned. The communication before and during the sit was always so quick and she sent regular photos of the dogs usually out on their walk so was lovely to see. I can’t thank Kat enough, it’s a big task to look after three dogs and a chicken by yourself but Kat took it all in her stride.

We hosted Melanie for 2 weeks over Christmas and everything was perfect. We were happy to get to meet her to handoff and chat! She kept us up to date on a few small issues quickly resolved and was very patient with our slight mismatch on a few parts of welcome guide that we are fixing. She sent us great updates with lots of playtime for our cat. For leaving everything was as per instruction, and very tidy and clean. Tayto barely noticed we returned 🤣 Thanks so much Melanie.

Clarissa and Jeremy looked after our kitty Robin for about a week this January, and they were wonderful! Communication was great, and they made time to come visit the apartment to meet Robin, get a tour, and pick up keys before their stay. They made sure to update us daily, and we felt fully comfortable during our vacation knowing that Robin was in good hands. They also left the place very clean and tidy, and Robin was healthy and happy upon our return. We would love to have them back in the future, and fully recommend them as sitters for others!

Julie and Alex were able to come to our place earlier then what we had originally advertised. This helped us out so we did not have to pay for a pet sitter to drop in while we were out of town for 2 days. We overlapped in the house for a day but they were great and had no issues. They took excellent care of our 4 cats and 2 rabbits. The cats approached Julie the first evening and we could tell that they were comfortable with us leaving them. Julie kept us up to date on all going ons and sent pictures. We would have Julie and Alex over again to take care of our babies.

Grace has been an amazing cat sitter! She took such great care of my cat, ensuring she was well-fed, comfortable, and given plenty of attention while I was away. I appreciated the daily updates, including photos and videos, which gave me peace of mind knowing my cat was in good hands. Grace even went out of her way to make a cardboard house for my cat and picked up a free scratching post from Marketplace! It was so sweet of her, and she even carried it home across Luxembourg! Not only was my cat happy and relaxed when I returned, but the house was just as I left it. Grace went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She’s reliable, trustworthy, and truly cares about animals. She was disappointed that we took our dog with us! Maybe next time 😉. She also left such a lovely gift from her hometown in Chile. Good luck settling into your new life in Luxembourg, Grace! We’d love to keep in touch for future sits. I would highly recommend Grace to anyone looking for a caring and attentive pet sitter!

Kate was a wonderful housesitter. She bought her gorgeous chocolate lab Elsie with her who was so sweet and, although young, she was really well behaved and lovely company for Woody. We really enjoyed meeting Kate who has a really cheerful personality and handled everything we threw at her with ease and a smile on her face. Unfortunately, we had some works going on at the house outside which had run on longer than we thought so she had to deal with guttering people, scaffolding and landscapers, all of which she did in her stride without complaint which we really appreciated. She was very caring with Woody who had a couple of "off days" and was careful to keep us in touch with how he was doing and asking whether we wanted to get the vet involved. We really felt he was in good hands. She was super flexible and even offered to move her return journey in case Woody wasn't well enough to be left until we got back but, in the end, it wasn't necessary. We got back to an immaculate house and a very happy dog. Thank you Kate for being so understanding and for managing the house and Woody so well. We would highly recommend Kate for a future housesit.

Jane

Jane is a beautiful person and her three cat family is adorable. She gave us a warm welcome to her place which is really cozy and gave clear instructions. Taking care of the lovely cats was amazing, Miko gave us calm with her peace while Luna and Cloud made us laugh when they played. This is a beautiful sit and we would love to go back ❤️

We had a lovely stay at Claire and Bram’s place. Claire is so kind and communicative both before and during the stay. She sent detailed videos and explanations about accessing the apartment and everything we needed to know for our stay. It was also very kind of them to offer the use of their bikes. The apartment is lovely and light and very spacious, and located in an excellent area for exploring both Rotterdam and nearby cities. There is a great cafe called Roast around the corner - great coffee! 

Gin-Gin is a real character and became comfortable with us very quickly. He loves just sitting with you and also in his spot on the window sill in the sun or on the kitchen stool. He likes to be let out the window onto the balcony and will meow to let you know he wants to go outside. He is quite vocal especially when he forgets where he is, but he stops meowing as soon as you pat him and chat with him. He cuddled up with us on the bed at night - he does get up and move around a bit in the night and will occasionally meow but it’s not too disruptive and he’s such a friendly guy we didn’t mind!
