Having Shannon take care of our cats and house was a seamless joy! She was super responsive and reliable. We had a couple of zoom calls before we left and she kept good communication throughout our travels. She kept us updated on how things were going and even let us know when we were running low on prescription food which she then went and picked up. She was flexible when we thought our return plans might change and the boys warmed up to her quickly. She added air to the tires in the car which had been sitting for a while, and left both house and car in pristine and spotless condition. She was everything you could want in a sitter. She is welcome back anytime. The cats told me so.
I had a wonderful time in Hove. Sofie and her family greeted me very warmly. She showed me everything around in detail, made sure I had all the info I needed. The house is beautiful and super conveniently located. A stone throw away from shops, cafes, supermarkets and more importantly the beach 🏝️ Nar is the sweetest thing. She loves to take long naps in the warmth of the sun and enjoyed loads of cuddles. I miss her very much already. She was great company. Thanks Sofi for sharing your home with me!
We had a wonderfully time housesitting for Jen and Rod. Their home is immaculate, thoughtfully laid out, and easy to live in. We had a great time caring for their 5 cats Marilyn, Sushi, Muffin, Randal and Sweetie, each with their own personality and quirky characteristics. Once we got into a rhythm of their feeding routines, we really enjoyed our visits with the cats morning and night. Their home is located close to the beach, close to public transport, and between two towns with everything you could need. When we finally met Rod, and then Jen after a few months of communication online we were so pleased to find out just how well we got along with them both. Two intelligent, caring and incredibly generous people. We couldn’t have hoped for a better first experience using Trusted House Sitters.
Had fun with Charlie. Only disappointment was that Kim has not provided feedback for us.
We so appreciate you guys letting us into your home and watching your wonderful pets. We had a great and interesting experience in D.C. Carolinas apartment is cozy and nice and very close to night life and of course the national monuments (which I found out a lot are free to get into!) Carolina and Alex are very down to earth and so so nice and accommodating 😊 The pets are low maintenance even though Milo can be a bit sassy at times lol. He just has to warm up to you. The apartment and area around felt pretty safe to me, I loved the alarm system and how the main door locks. There is also a baseball field and Rec area next to it so there’s always people on the look out and everyone we encountered were very nice! Btw if you wanna try some pretty good vegan soul food try “NuVegan” 😁 I would definitely sit again here! Thank you guys again! 😊❤️
Really enjoyed looking after Mario ! He was lovely and loved to get up on the couch and the bed. He loves to be in the same room as you and especially loved sitting on the bathroom tiles :) His walks were lovely - a really nice park just around the corner and we loved the Walthamstow area so much ! Amazing little cafes (even a vegan one Patty recommended!) and so close to Blackhorse Road tube station. We walked in 15 minutes :) Would happily look after Mario again! Thanks so much for having us Dom and Patty!
I loved watching Zelda! She really is the sweetest cat. She was immediately purring and affectionate when I met her and happy to take lots of pets and cuddles. Phyllis’ home is so cozy and lovely as well so it was very relaxing staying in her home. I would be happy to watch Zelda again, and I highly recommend this sit!
