I had a wonderful time sitting for Joanna’s cute boys! They are truly wonderful companions. It took them a day or two to warm up to me but afterwards they were my steadfast coworkers and kept up with my work ethic! 🤓😝 Joanna’s home is wonderfully and tastefully decorated and is simple and easy to maintain. The apartment was easy to find and conveniently located. The boys are easy to care for and you’ll have the best time with them! It was a real joy to look after Alfie and explore the coastal countryside south of Dublin with such a feisty little companion! Karen and her family were very welcoming and left clear instructions which were very helpful. The home was very clean and tidy, and Karen always responded quickly if I had any questions. This little pup is dearly loved and the family has worked hard to train him. He is well behaved, but is reactive to other dogs, and must always be kept on lead. He enjoys long walks and has lots of stamina, which enabled us to walk 8-10 miles without any issues. I enjoyed my week in Killiney so much, and found the area very easy to navigate using public transportation. The star of the show, of course, is Alfie. He is a dear little pup who loves playing with his ball, getting gentle brushes, and tummy rubs. I would love to look after him again, and so appreciate the chance to care for him this summer.
We had an amazing house sit at Steve and Jane's. Each of their five cats have different personalities and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each one of them. Steve and Jane were wonderful from start to finish. They picked us up at the airport, showed us around Paphos and Peyia, and gave us really good tips for places to visit and things to do. They generously allowed us to use their car while they were away and took us out for dinner at their local tavern on our first night. Steve and Jane are very kindhearted and they truly care about animals. In addition to the 5 cats they have adopted, they also feed a group of stray cats in their neighbourhood every day. While they were away, we fed the group of strays in the evenings and it warmed my heart to see how much that meal meant to those kitties. They have a lovely, spacious home with everything you need and we had a very comfortable stay. They provided us with a welcome guide and helped us to arrange a taxi back to the airport on our last day. Thank you to Steve and Jane for a lovely house sit - hopefully we will see you again. 😃
