Dean and Lynn were model house and pet sitters. They paid attention to details and asked questions when not sure, which was only once. Our puppy broke the clasp on her crate and they improvised a solution independently. When Callie was petrified of the thunderstorm, they kept her close by and comforted her. I recommend Dean and Lynn highly. They are exceptional.
Andi was a wonderful host! She had responsibilities laid out straight forward & simply, was very gracious & kind. This is a family who puts their pets & kids first ! My first house/pet sit w/Trusted Housesitters and it was great! I love their 2 sweet dogs, Bunny & Maggie, so well behaved & loving and we had a great time together!

We loved everything about this sit - the cat, the flat, the brilliant location and, of course, getting to meet such a kind and positive person like Christen. Having Bobby around us just added to the whole wonderful week. We are so grateful to Christen for choosing us to sit for her as it really made our reunion so special. I wholeheartedly recommend this sit to anyone considering it. If you are lucky enough to be chosen you will have a beautiful, loving kitty to care for in a spacious, quiet and well decorated flat with comfy beds and a great wet-room shower. There's also a sun-trap garden and lovely neighbours to chat to. You'll be just 5 mins walk to the beach and bus stop and just 15 mins walk to the vibrant town of Worthing and West Worthing train station (London mainline). It absolutely goes without saying that I (with my husband next time) would dearly love to add this sit to our list of repeats whenever our diaries coincide. Thanks again Christen and big Bob (we missed you the minute we left)
I had the best experience looking after Cleo the dog in Gretchen and Greg’s beautiful home. They were amazing with communication and included a helpful welcome pack for my stay. Cleo was an absolute dream to hang out with - happy, affectionate, well behaved. Zurich is a fantastic city to explore. The balance of countryside and city was perfect for me. I would 100% sit for them again. A sublime experience!
What an incredible dog, incredible house and incredible people! We hated to leave. (We really did!) Sofi is such an affectionate, happy, good natured dog who loves attention (belly rubs, being brushed, walks in the neighborhood, you name it), loves to play (frisbee, fetch with her sock monkey) and is truly a joy to spend time with. She is super easy to care for, has a great personality and is such a complete sweetheart. We had so much fun with her. Elizabeth and Dean are warm, wonderful and fun people. We were fortunate enough to get to meet them before our sit even began (so much fun!), and we enjoyed several meals with them prior to and just after our sit. We loved hearing about some of their many great travels and life experiences -- and learning tips and tricks for our own future travels. We look forward to spending more time with them and keeping in touch as time moves forward. Elizabeth and Dean took the time to make us feel completely welcome. They had taken care of every detail needed to make our stay simply amazing – it was like being on vacation at a spa. And then some! Everything was super clean, super organized and super comfortable. We felt completely appreciated and welcomed – a real pleasure. Fast internet, glorious kitchen, office space, workout space, project space, TV/entertainment, location – they have it all! It was like staying at a resort. The park near their house for walking, fishing, etc. is really nice, too. The house … well, in a word, is SPECTACULAR. It is beautiful and full of both of their creations and mementos from a life of fun, travel and exploration. It is filled with so many personal touches and details that made us smile anew every day. We would welcome a future sit and would totally look forward to it. If you get the opportunity to do a sit with them, we highly, highly recommend Sofi, Elizabeth and Dean. We would return in a heartbeat!
My stay in Oslo was very pleasant and interesting, the city is quiet with many places to visit and the fjord is enchanting. Alessia is a truly kind and hospitable person, I immediately felt at ease with her, almost as if I had known her for a long time and the communication was excellent. The apartment, located in the central part of the city, is very clean, bright, quiet and welcoming. And we come to Masik... ADORABLE! He is a very sweet cat, we immediately made friends and taking care of him was easy and pleasant. Coming home I found him at the door waiting for me looking at me with his splendid blue eyes, what pleasant company... I would do this experience again and recommend it. Thanks again!
