I had a lot of fun taking care of Bella, she’s the sweetest baby ever. She acts like a pup that loves walks and playing fetch. She will bring you all her toys so you can pick one to play with her 🥰 It’s very easy to fell in love with Bella. Yvonne’s house is beautiful, very comfortable. She left a detailed welcome guide with clear instructions and the communication with her was very easy.
We had an excellent stay at Eva's lovely home. Eva was very communicative and welcoming. We'd love to housesit for Eva again some day!
Had a lovely time at this sit. The flat has everything you’d need and is in a great location. Aleks and Andreas are great hosts, they were friendly, easy going and communicative. Most importantly, the two cats, Kyo and Yuki are absolutely adorable. They just want to be your friend and are so cuddly. Looking forward to sitting again! 😊
We highly recommend this sit! We were smitten with Scout from day one. She truly is a magic dog. She gave us "hugs" every morning and cuddles all day long. It is super easy to give her medication for her (very well managed) seizure disorder, and Korinda gave us great instructions on what to do if something happened (and nothing did). Walking Scout to the lighthouse and back each morning was a joy. We miss her! The apartment is just as beautiful and comfortable as you see in the photos, and Korinda is an outstanding host. Her Airbnb abilities really shine through, from the spotless apartment, to the perfectly stocked kitchen, to her generosity with a welcome gift and area recommendations. South Haven was so fun to explore, and we feel we barely scratched the surface after a week there. We would jump at the chance to return. If you're lucky enough to be offered this sit, go for it!
Wild. Wonderful. Wyoming! CeCe and Jeff’s home is a comfortable cottage, in a garden, among acres and acres of pasture, all surrounded by stunning mountains. Star Valley was named for being the “star of all valleys” when it was settled in the 1870s. Besides the stunning views there are cows and horses everywhere and it is so much fun to observe their behavior! Tana and I had the pleasure one day of watching eight horses trotting down the road (after leaving their ranch) - soon to be followed by a neighbor on an ATV looking to guide them back home. Fairview is all about the animals. And there is a dairy farm where you can get farm made ice cream (always a good thing!). Seven minutes away is the town of Afton (which all feels like part of the same place) where you go to shop. It is a thriving town as well as a place for tourists to visit. Restaurants, shops, library, grocery, churches - I even got to see the homecoming parade for the HS football game. The whole town was out to support the team! Rocky Mountain Seafood has a case of fresh fish and a menu of delicious fish dishes and sides. Dog-Eared Book Shop is a place for book lovers. The shelves are arranged with new and used books together. Fun to spend time browsing and finding that perfect read. This is a place that keeps you outside - walking Tana, reading in the yard with Tana, exploring locally (Intermittent Spring up the mountain a must) and an easy one hour drive to Jackson Hole. The views change throughout the day and with the weather! It was remarkable to see the mountaintops change from dry to snowcapped! And now for the real STAR of the valley…Tana! We had our meet and greet at the house the night before CeCe and Jeff’s trip, with a lovely dinner and time to get to know each other! I got to learn all about Tana’s daily routine and a few of her tricks. She is the sweetest, most gentle soul. She welcomed me into her life so easily. Our days began when Tana woke me up with a “nose to nose” followed by a first walk which was a romp in the fenced yard. We took a long morning walk, a late afternoon outing and an evening stroll around the corner. Other times of the day we were together in the yard or on the couch - she has her own blanket for that. She has a patient nature which is demonstrated in a command she follows: when you sit with a mini milk bone on your knee and say “STAY" - she waits for “OKAY” and only then takes it off your knee and eats it. So much fun for both of us! Absolutely the most trusting and loving friend! I am grateful for all the time I had in this most beautiful part of the country with one very special precious pet! Lots of tears saying goodbye for sure! CeCe and Jeff…thank you for trusting me with your girl and your home. You all have a special place in my heart.
