Catherine is a lovely lady with a heart of gold! We knew this the moment we met her to take Bruce for a walk before we started the sit. Bruce is awesome company, we enjoyed spending the week Bruce - he is very loving, and playful but also chill! He enjoys a short walk, and being outside. He isn't the best with other dogs, but a little socializing with smaller dogs he does settle down and starts to enjoy their company. He is happily left alone for a few hours. The apartment is in very close proximity to the bus stop and train station allowing you go into Dublin City or see wider Dublin.
It was a short weekend sit. There were great communication pre and during sit between Raphael and I. As an international sitter (with extra luggage) I appreciate his picking me up from the train station and giving a run through of the house. The house was clean and neat and it was easy to maintain so. Frodo was simply adorable. He prefers to keep a distance but would sit near enough to me in the evenings. He is the first semi outdoor cat that I sit. I was apprehensive at first to let the window open to give Frodo free access to the garden outside. But he comes in on his own after a few minutes. A relaxing easy sit over the weekend. Thank you very much Raphael for having me. This house sit is really recommended.
Anna and I had a fantastic time sitting Leo and Simba. We both adored playing and cuddling them all weekend. We miss them already! Sophie is very relaxed and welcoming. Her home is beautiful quiet oasis in the centre of London.
Oscar is an absolutely easy care, cuddly, patient and loving creature. It was a pleasure to have breakfast together and share relaxing time with him after spending the day strolling in the park or visiting the city; which is very easy to do from this location. Communication was excellent and I appreciated meeting Melissa before the sit. Her kind help and trust transformed an awkward moment of personal tragedy into a magical long weekend that I will treasure forever. Melissa's home was spotless clean, lovingly decorated and I very much enjoyed the big bed for myself :) (and Oscar haha) Very nice touch: the snacks and drinks kindly shared with me. Bonus: cute neighbour who cooks something that smelled delicious :D (unfortunately met him only as I was leaving on the last day lol) I loved this sit and would recommend it to anyone looking for some peace in the middle of the apparent chaos of Manhattan.
Martha and David have a lovely home and we especially enjoyed their Goldendoodle Jack. He was full of wonderful puppy exuberance! Callie was shy but we did see her several times when the house calmed down at night. Martha and David were both easy going and provided good instructions for both the house and pet care. The house was clean upon our arrival and well organized. We would recommend this sit and have already agreed on another future sit with them. Thanks!!!
Caring for Mila and Paul's adorable pets has been a true delight. Icy is the sweetest gentlest Doberman ever, she just wants to be with you and you just want to cuddle her all day long. Little Gully is an adorable character, who's passion is chasing his ball and laying with you on the sofa. They are both so well behaved not the least bit demanding and are real pals together. We truly fell in love with them both. The 3 bantams were really friendly and easy to take care of. It was so lovely to meet Mila and Paul, they are a super friendly couple, easy going, kind and made us feel so welcome and relaxed in their home. Mila gave us excellent information before the sit and kept in touch with us even though it was their wedding celebrations and honeymoon. We definitely had a tear in our eye when we left this sit and anybody else lucky enough to sit for Icy and Gully while Mila and Paul are away will love every moment of it and leave with lots of happy memories as we did. We highly recommend this sit and hope we might get the opportunity to sit for them again.
