It was a delight sitting for Monica. I loved being with her cat Nutella. Nutty as she's called, was a delight to be with, and wanted to cuddle and be loved whenever she could. Her beautiful home is in located in Rockridge, one of the most scenic sections of Oakland. It's filled with some of the most fun and interest appliances I seen. I especially loved the Magic Oven that was a combination of Mircowave and Oven. This was a perfect experience. And one my wife and I would love to repeat.
This was truly my best sit of the year so far. Not only will you fall in love with Pompey & Scipio at first sight, they're so gentle, well- behaved and free spirited that you won't want to leave. They live in paradise, for dogs & humans alike. Paul & the boys made sure I had all the Intel needed to have a phenomenal stay before they headed out, and were always available for ANY questions I had, which were few & far between because of how detailed they'd been. There's so much to explore... but the sweetest thing was whilst exploring the trails I felt utterly adopted into their tribe by the dogs, protected like one of their own. It was wonderful to wake up each day surrounded by so much pristine nature, in this home that truly felt built with love. Idyllic is an understatement. Everything you'll need to have a peaceful, dog-centric retreat to remind you of the good in the world is right there. & even the neighbors were welcoming. Everyone knows & loves Scipio & Pompey. I was even lucky enough to spend a lil time with Nina & the kids before heading out and it was the icing on the cake. I would love to go back whenever they'd need me. Definitely not to be missed.
Very nice week with Jasper and Saffy. Jasper took a while to warm up but then gradually moved closed to the bed to sleep. They are very easy and cute. Joanna's appartment is confortable, well equipped and very well located. There is a small car park to the building and a free public car park less than 100m away. The beach can be reached in few minutes on foot. Candás is a little nice town with many places of interest in and around. We did not meet Joanna but communication was easy before and during the sit, and the explanations to access the apartment were well detailed. Thank you and maybe we will have the chance to meet another time.
Petey and Polka are as advertised. Great kitties. Watching them on the back deck listening to the various birds chirping in the morning tranquility was fun. They are super easy to play with and entertain. Deborah's magnificent home is set in the hills of Weaverville. They keep their house immaculate. Their are so many things to do in the area...walk the hilly neighborhood, hike the surrounding mountains, kayak the French Broad River, or head to downtown Weaverville or Asheville (10-15 minutes) for numerous places to dine or take in a craft beer. I hope to be back again to visit Petey and Polka.
My partner and I really enjoyed staying at Terri’s house and looking after her sweet dog, Idaho, who we immediately fell in love with! Idaho is so easy to take care of. She is well-behaved, both walking on leash and playing off-leash with other dogs. She will gently remind you about her twice daily mealtimes with a soft “woof”. Terri’s communication was clear, prompt, and friendly from start to finish. I arrived at the house the night before her departure, so we could meet and do a walkthrough of sit responsibilities. She was wonderful, easy company, and it turned out we share a love of biking and the outdoors. She left a printed welcome guide, including recommendations for dog parks, walks, and hikes. The house is great - the guest bedroom is comfortable, the swamp cooler kept the temps down despite a heat wave, and the desk was nice for remote working. And the Sugarhouse location can’t be beat. The house was a short walk to two grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants , and parks. We had a great time and could not recommend this sit more highly!
A Quiet Home You'll Love!!! This is the place everyone wants to stay! I enjoyed this housesitting experience as soon as we arrived! Barbara's home is absolutely amazing, spacious, and comfortable in every way! Her kitchen is amazing and fully stocked with everything you'd need to make your usually meals and if you want to try new recipes! The cats are just delightful, and though each are different in their own way, they're all loving and affectionate! Little One and Baby girl are the most active one's that likes to roam around, as well as Goof Goof too, but Marmie and Goof Goof are the two that loves napping and sleeping in the bed or on the couch to snuggle up to you! Barbara is amazing and consistent with her communication, so you'll always be able to reach her if needed! This housesit was such a peaceful and relaxing experience that I was sad to leave! Thank you Barbara for making this a divine experience for us!
