Really enjoyed staying at Lyn's and looking after Raffy (5 year old french bulldog) and 2 of his puppies, Pinkie and Malo (3 months old). Great characters and very good fun. Lyn was very friendly before, during and after and her house was very comfortable, modern, clean and easy to live in. Also a good location very close to parkland, Lake Wendouree, the botanical gardens and a minute or 2 walk to either of 2 buses to get to the train station.
This was our first Trusted Housesitters experience, and it couldn't have been better! Leah and Graham made is feel very comfortable and at home from the very beginning. We got to spend a bit of time with them and the dogs before the start of our sit so we felt pretty confident about taking care of Nigel, Doris and Pearl. Their house is very comfortable, with a lovely garden, and we had the best sleep of our lives. The dogs are adorable! They took to us easily, and they were a delight! We worked from home during our stay (the Internet speed is great), and we spent the whole day with them, and got to know them - each one has a distinct personality. They are easy to love, and take care of. A great experience overall.
Our family had such a great visit at Mel and Lucian’s home. We fell in love with their property, their beautiful home, and all of their sweet animals. Rudi is such a special pup, kitties mostly kept to themselves but we’d see them in the mornings and evenings. Goats were so fun to care for! We did a day trip every other day or so, to Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpness Meare (one of our favorite days), and the Framlingham castle!
We absolutely loved this sit. Sarah and John were attentive hosts but at the same time trusting and relaxed. The dogs were so easy and all three had lovely characters. The County of Clare has as beauty of its own and everyone we met were great company. We also got to know Eilis, their daughter who was a good support. We looked after her horse ,Jess, another interesting character too. The house was lovely, very homely and in a beautiful setting. If you are looking for a stay in Ireland you need look no further. Thank you Sarah and John for giving us this opportunity. You became good friends and I am sure that we will keep in touch.
Watching Luna was great! She brought out the playfulness in our 6 year old pup - they played all day tiring each other out. She was super easy to care for and very calm in the office while we worked. The backyard space was really lovely to hang out in with the dogs. Chiara was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Thanks for everything!
Sitting for Tobi and communicating with Kris was an all- around lovely experience. Kris is one of the most genuine, kind humans I've met, and her cat and condo reflect the care she has for life. Tobi is a well-loved kitty who DOES run the place, and out of high regard for her feelings I refrained from petting her even though she is so cute and chirpy! Everything was super clean, the condo is accessible and has 2 fun balconies to hang out on, near the city of Madison to explore. 100% recommend this sit!
