AK & Steven are delightful and accommodating housesitters. And our pets welcomed them with open arms. They were able to arrive the evening before so we could leave very early the next morning. Steven walked Bear most every day - at least when it wasn't too hot. And AK sufficiently watered outdoor plants so the sweltering heat didn't do them in. Basic housekeeping was done when we returned home. They even recycled! Thanks AK & Steven.
We’d have Timm back anytime - he was a joy to be around for the few hours we spent together before I left and Manny loved him. Timm sent us thoughtful short stories from his adventures with Manny and he left the place spotless. He was one of the best sitters we’ve had!
Janet and Jim are very friendly and had everything ready for us when we arrived. We had supper with them after they showed us where we could walk Ellie, before they left the next morning. Ellie is a very easy dog to look after! She loves her food and her walks and is very relaxed at home. You are ideally located for walks from the house, because you are near the woods, where you can go in different directions for walks. You can also walk through the woods to several beaches. Ellie is very happy if you take her to the beach! Stackpole is a very quiet village with a well-known pub. The house is very comfortable with an attractive garden. The neighbours are very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend them to potential house/pet-sitters.
