On a scale of 1 to 5, I give Ellen a 10! She did a most exceptional job taking care of my very very shy kitty as well as my extensive gardens and my home. Ellen was incredibly attentive and loving and intuitive in relating to my cat. This was apparent from the beginning, and allowed me to feel more comfortable being away from my pet than I have in a very long time. Ellen also sent frequent informative text updates, as well as pics and videos, which were all very reassuring. She was also very responsible and thoughtful in taking care of my gardens and houseplants, and she left my home in pristine condition. I can’t imagine a better housesitter!
This was a great sit in all aspects, Nancy and Doug were so welcoming and great people, Whiskey is such a love bug and wants to be with you at all times, Abby is a very friendly cat and Keller is a beautiful cat who unfortunately is deaf and mostly blind so does his own thing, and tho friendly, not one to be pet. The house is fully stocked, the location on the marshes of the Broad River is beautiful and the sunsets are spectacular. Last is the Man Cave - awesome and fun. I highly recommend this sit and hope to do again.
I recently had the delightful opportunity to care for Leo, and it was truly a wonderful experience. Leo is an exceptionally charming dog with a vibrant personality. We bonded quickly, enjoying playful moments, cozy cuddles, and engaging explorations together. Andrea's residence is immaculate, well-organized, and generously spacious, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The layout is thoughtfully arranged, making everything easily accessible. Communication with Andrea was seamless; she is exceptionally warm, gracious, and kind. I am deeply appreciative of her hospitality and would be delighted to care for Leo again
Elle was very kind and thoughtful, Lilah is the sweetest cat ever, and Elle's place is in a gorgeous location by the sea. Lilah is incredibly friendly and loving and I really enjoyed looking after her; she's very good company! It was a lovely house-sit for 3 weeks, which I thoroughly enjoyed and which I'd highly recommend. :-)
Tabby is a very good person and her pets are really very loving. Gin, Tonica, Gipsy, Sugar, Honey and Treacle will forever be my best memories. She pick me up from and to the train station. Regarding the house, it is very large and I recommend it for couples. But I highly recommend this sitting if you are looking to disconnect from the city and connect with nature. Thanks Tabby for everything!!
I had a lovely time at Anne's cute apartment with her sweet cat. It took a little bit of time for Boo to get used to me and he was skittish but playful and cuddly at times. Her apartment had everything you need and a nice big balcony and, most of all, a great location, especially for the folk music festival I was attending! Anne was good with communication but I did have a problem finding her laundry soap when I tried to wash her sheets at the end of my sit so I had to ask the building manager to loan me a pod (hence the 4 stars, I assume). As I recall, she was out of cell phone range when I asked her for help finding the detergent. Except for that problem, she anticipated everything else in her Welcome Guide and was very prepared for her first THS housesitter!
We absolutely loved this sit! Kiersten provided welcome package with all the info needed to care for home and Sadie. We were minutes away in any direction from major sites in visiting with friends and family in this centrally located apartment. And Sadie is the easiest, sweetest dog who stole our hearts, such a happy delightful being. Was a privilege to spend some time with her. Highly recommend this sit
