Jason is the consummate host! From our first contact to the last, his details about Susie and Hobbes are spot-on and super helpful. Even arriving late at night, the pups welcomed me just as described. Hobbes has the sweetest spirit, what a love. Susie is a bundle of energy and fun. I enjoyed playing with them, walking them in the Uptown neighborhood, and hanging out while I worked. Jason's home is well-appointed, with quality furnishings - everything you need, including incredibly comfortable guest bedding. This sit is a great experience in an ideal location. I highly recommend.
Simon & I loved looking after Charles & Mia's home & pets for 2 weeks. Mary, Pepper, Timmy, Murphy & the chicken were absolutely great to care for, we had a fabulous 2 weeks! We became very good friends with Mary & Pepper (labradors) & loved taking them for daily walks, both locally in the surrounding farm/village walks & on a few adventures further afield. Mary & Pepper responded so well to us straightaway, we never had any problems, they both have very sweet personalities & are both well trained. They love their cuddles, walks & food very much! Timmy is such a sweet cat & loves his cuddles too. Charles & Mia's beautiful home is in a great location not far from Bristol with a beautiful garden to enjoy too. Chew Magna is such a lovely village, we walked down most days & enjoyed a meal at one of the local pubs one evening. Mia & Charles are really lovely people, they made us feel very welcome & were both great to communicate with. We would highly recommend them to other house-sitters & we would love to sit for them again one-day! Simon & Chloe
Elyse knows exactly what to expect from the sitter, so all rules should be followed. Her home was very nice and the neighbors and the whole environment was super great. Piper is the sweetest dog ever and we took her straight to our hearts in such a short time. Everything was taken care of and the welcome guide should definitely be followed closely, it lists everything you need to know in detail. Sonny and Lily are the most loving sibling pair and have clearly spent their lives together. They enjoy being off leash and in the water on the Colorado Trail or Falls Creek. With treats in hand, a whistle, and the chance to go on the trail with Barb before she left, we felt good that they would come back to us - and they did. Just make sure to keep them within your line of sight. We found that Falls Creek was preferable for one person. Barb is a fantastic host and has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Her house is quaint and backyard a haven for enjoying meals. We fell in love with Durango and highly recommend this sit to all who enjoy the outdoors and want to spend time on the trails with the lovable Sonny and Lily!
