Alicia is a kind friendly woman. Overall she took care of my pets well and when i returned they were content and healthy. She washed , dried and folded the bed linens and left cooked food in the fridge that we could eat after returning home which was appreciated. I think however we had different expectations of each other in terms of what was appropriate for house sitting. There was a lack of communication about an unknown male guest late at night as well as having a friend care for our dogs only to have them leave unexpectedly and have the dogs be alone for a very long time. I think she was not fully prepared to handle the needs of our dogs even though it was stated in the listing clearly. She messaged about behaviours in Wally that we have never had before with other sitters and left us on edge while on holidays. We appreciate the care she provided to our dogs but towards the end of the trip we were a bit stressed and concerned about the sit overall.
We loved our sit at Jess and Paulette’s. Kora is such a character and a big sweetheart. Miss is lovely and came in for cuddles. Walking distance to a supermarket and easy access to the motorway. Beautiful garden. Jess and Paulette are so welcoming, very friendly and made us feel at home. Detailed instructions to avoid confusion. Thanks so much!
