We had a wonderful time at Maya and Byron's place looking after Whiskey. Maya and Byron are very generous and kind people and we enjoyed spending time with them before and after the sit. They made sure we had everything we needed and helped us plan our journey to and from the sit. Their home is beautifully decorated and was very comfortable despite the unexpected heat wave that hit Texas while we were there. We enjoyed being able to explore what the area had to offer, watching the deer roam free near the house, walking in Pedernales State Park, visiting local breweries/distilleries as well as the local dance hall. Last but not least, Whiskey was a pleasure to look after, he is very affectionate and easy going cat and we miss him already! Highly recommended sit.

I house sat for Jenny and her family for a couple weeks, taking care of their dog Zoe, their house plants and a wonderful garden. Jenny and Jeremy walked me through the routine before leaving on their trip and made sure I had all the information I needed. They graciously allowed my dog Indie to stay as well. Indie and Zoe formed a bond immediately and I was grateful for them to have each other's company as Zoe is a very social and high energy dog. Zoe could play forever, especially when water is involved! Their home is located close to great trails in the mountains and we ventured out nearly every day for some kind of adventure. I will always look back on this stay fondly. Jenny and Jeremy were fantastic hosts and if you find yourself in the area I highly recommend connecting with them for a sit. Thanks again, guys!
Staying at Erika's place was great. It was awesome to explore the city and walk in the park with her dog, Whizley. Erika's apartment is cozy with lots of interesting things. Hanging out with Whizley was fun; he's friendly and kind, making each day special. I really enjoyed staying at Erika's. Her home is comfortable, and she did everything to make it nice for us. Erika is caring and always helped out. I want to go back there again! She also kindly allowed me to stay an extra night because my flight was early in the morning and helped me call a taxi.
What an enjoyable cat-sit this has been! Diane and Sherie were extremely welcoming, showed me everything I needed to know - the welcome pack is extremely comprehensive too. Archie was a joy to be with; looking after a deaf cat is different from being with a hearing cat, but with a lot of eye contact, through playing games and enjoying some cuddles, we found we understood each other - especially at feeding time :) The flat is very comfortable and pleasant to relax in, with a great view of Brighton beach and the Pier. Kemp Town is a lively area with great cafés, take-aways and restaurants. It is very easy to get into Brighton town centre too, whether you want to walk or get a bus. And the 53 stairs to the flat help towards your daily exercise! I hope Archie had as good a time as I had, and I hope to see him again. I would absolutely recommend this sit. Kirsten and Sarah were super helpful and communicated fantastically before the sit. (Though unfortunately our timings meant we didn't meet but I would really to have liked to.) They sounded very interesting. They left everything super organised, tidy and clean in the house for me, and even ingredients to make very indulgent breakfasts while I was there! The 3 cats were very adorable and a joy to hang out with, we played a lot. Their house was quiet and relaxing, and just a short walk to the station.
