It was an absolute joy to stay in Eleanor, Andy and their family’s beautiful home and look after the incredible Gus and Fern! We couldn't have asked for better communication throughout, we loved meeting and chatting to Eleanor on the phone and really appreciated the information they sent through ahead of our arrival, which covered everything we needed to know. They left us wine and told us to help ourselves to anything during our sit which was so sweet. Eleanor really helped to make us feel at home right away which we really appreciated. The house was so nice, cosy and homey, set right in the heart of Kentish Town/Tufnell Park area, with the stunning Hampstead Heath really close by and just one stop to Camden Town. There were also plenty of cafes, pubs, green grocers, bakeries, butchers, and everything we could need just a short walk away. The house was truly the perfect little getaway! Spending just under a week with Gus and Fern was an absolute dream and we completely fell in love with their warm, playful and inquisitive characters. Both cats were so loving and warmed up to us really quickly (Gus especially who always wanted to be with us, cuddled up), the house is a perfect playground for them and we loved watching them explore and develop their relationship! We would absolutely recommend this sit to anyone. Thank you Eleanor and family! ☺️
Kathryn and Kristi were great to sit for. I was able to meet Kristi and sweet dog Mochi ahead of time and felt comfortable immediately. Instructions for both the home and the dog were very thorough. The house is darling and Mochi was an absolute doll. I'd sit again any time!
I loved watching Noosa and Boo! They were so sweet, Noosa is such a cuddle bug and she loves to just hang out and been close. Boo was always right around the corner watching me too! Deepak and Keith were great to talk to, and they have a beautiful home!
What a wonderful first experience with Trusted House sitters!! Brian and Kimberly were great hosts and they have a fantastic home. Louie and Neelix are two of the nicest pets I've ever met. Louie is just such a happy-go-lucky dog and Neelix is one of the most social cats I've met. Neither of them get too worked up or upset over anything. Both love being around people and are really easy to care for. Louie follows directions easily and Neelix is really content with the chance to just set with you for a while every now and then.
Patti opened her house to me in a very warm and generous way. The Four Flatties were just amazing. First introduction was a little overwhelming but soon calmness prevailed. They are so well trained and so responsive. A real pleasure to have experienced. When the opportunity arose they could be a little cheeky , they knew they had a “rookie”looking after them! However once you became aware of their cheeky thoughts it was all good! I had the use of Patti’s vehicle which made life so much easier. The daily walk was mostly a trip to the woods and once they had run off steam they gave me a nice calm walk for the last few meters on leads back to the car. Patti was on hand for advice and recommendations for all of the duration of the stay . Billy, well what can I say-the most majestic lovable soft also cheeky cat I have ever met. To conclude I cannot remember the number of times I smiled and laughed for the week , and would have no hesitation to return to this wonderful family.
