When I arrived for my sit at Sarah's apartment, her two cats, Shilo and Kyla met me at the door. They were friendly and loving and warmed up to me right away. Close to Lake Huron, there were many beaches within walking distance from Sarah's apartment and lots of walking and biking paths. Sarah provided detailed instructions and was very responsive to questions. Great sit!
My husband and I had a wonderful 4 day stay at Jen and Tom’s amazing home. We cared for their 2 dogs Maltie and Dusty, who were gentle, loving and enthusiastic. All went well!
What a wonderful sit! Zoe is the softest, sweetest kitty ever and an absolute pleasure to sit for. While she is pretty independent, she would always let me know when she wanted some love and attention...which I was more than happy to provide. Wendy is a very gracious host and an excellent communicator. We were able to meet prior to the sit and she was so welcoming and easy going. She provided a tour of her lovely home and all of the important information I would need for my stay. Her home is very comfortable, clean and bright. It is also located within walking distance to wonderful restaurants and the downtown mall. I would recommend this sit to anyone and I would be happy to sit for Zoe anytime!
We had a wonderful week with Youfi in Alice’s apartment in the pretty village of Les Allues. We could do many walks (easy to difficult) from the front door but also enjoyed exploring Les Trois Vallees in our car and finding walks in different locations. Such a beautiful time of year to be in the mountains- unbelievable wild flowers everywhere. We swam in mountain lakes and had picnics with the best views. Youfi is young and loving and enjoyed the walks as much as we did. He was a delight to be with and was adaptable to our day. The apartment has all you need, including a very comfortable bed. There is a little village shop or you can go down to Moûtiers for the twice weekly market or supermarkets, patisserie and restaurants. A highly recommended housesit!
Keiko and Nala both won my heart, and they have each other's - they adorably groom each other and curl up with each other, as well as running round playing and are the picture of sisterly love. Polly is lovely and so chilled - she loves her cats who climb up for a cuddle and she even made them their own cat toy which they love. Polly even gave me a pot of honey from her bees which was absolutely delicious! Polly and Piers' flat is perfect, so cosy and homey and the guest room and bathroom are so comfy too, it felt very safe and was very accessible too from the station. Definitely 5 thumbs up!
We had such a great time watching over Zorro, Zia & Ziggy at Danielle & Matt’s home! We loved getting to know each of the three kitties’ personalities during our stay and each were very fun in their own right! Ziggy took a little bit longer to warm up to us, as he was pretty shy at first, but once he did, he always wanted to be around us, in our laps or chirping away throughout the house. We would carry him around like the baby he is and he’d just purr away. All of the cats were actually quick to purr, once we learned what each one favored. They definitely kept us laughing and our hearts full! Their home is a nice, century-old build, but with all of the modern amenities we could have needed. It was also super convenient that it was located in a great neighborhood of Atlanta and an easy walk to Kirkwood Village, which has several shops, yummy restaurants and pubs. The locations is hard to beat! Danielle & Matt were a pleasure to meet and communicate with, even when they were across the country. They were really flexible, generous and quick to respond to any needs that arose. We really hit it off with them! We feel very lucky to have met Danielle, Matt and the kitties, and we look forward to seeing them again soon!!
