Looking after Bluey and the house was truly enjoyable! Francis and I both feel that we've never met a cat as charming as Bluey. He's sweet, curious, playful, cuddly, and a bit mischievous - and I've encountered many cats growing up on a farm. We'll miss the affectionate moments and playful times. We also had the pleasure of meeting James and Lleana, who are friendly and amazing hosts. They made us feel comfortable and right at home!
Darcy is very kind and great with her communication, and Amber and Sheboo are incredibly sweet animals! Both pets are very affectionate and cuddly, and I loved taking Amber on trail and beach walks! The views from Darcy’s place are stunning and we loved watching all of the birds too! Thanks again Darcy! Already missing your two sweet fur babies!
Barbara and I had excellent communication going on before the house sit and during the house sit. If I had a question I just texted Barbara and got a response quickly. I really did fall in love with Toby; he was so responsive and good-natured. Barbara’s home was so clean and adorable inside and outside. The backyard garden was very peaceful and enjoyable to relax in. The kitchen was large and spacious. Barbara was very generous inviting me to use everything in her kitchen. She left me wonderful resources of Tucson, which I used and went to Sabrino Canyon and Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. There is a lot to do in Tucson and the University of Arizona is only about three miles from Barbara. Also, Barbara left all the instructions for the house and Toby for me to refer to. Barbara walked me through everything in and outside of the house and details about Toby before she left. I found this to be very helpful. I appreciated the wonderful & enjoyable house sit experience for Barbara and Toby in Tucson.
We absolutely loved spending time with Lorax, Oliver and the lovely Luna. They all get along fairly well and each love their share of cuddles when in the mood. Lorax is always very excited for his daily walks and Luna loves exploring outside on her own. Oliver will probably want to be wherever you are :) Tabitha and Jay's house has everything you need and is super comfy. They were easy to communicate with and it's clear they want their sitters to enjoy their home. We'd recommend sitting for them to anyone who enjoys dogs and cats!
Idaho was such a wonderful dog to sit! She's smart and playful, loves company but isn't clingy, and is great on walks. She had this adorable habit of wanting to talk when I'd return from being out for a bit. The perfect companion! Terri was very accommodating and hospitable, easy to communicate with before and during the sit, and lives in a fabulous part of town. She provided plenty of information about the area, outdoor activities, and dog-friendly spots to check out. I would definitely recommend this sit for anyone thinking about applying. And would sit for Terri again in a heartbeat!
Both Ralph and Sharon were so lovely and welcoming. Their home is so beautiful and felt very homely to stay in. Their pack are so friendly and are like big fluffy gentle giants. There is a lovely beach walk only 25 mins away and closer parks and Lytham Hall which is all very peaceful. Already miss them so much and left it so hard to leave.
