Mamoura is a delight and we enjoyed her darling kitty Ali'i very much. Mamoura's home is sunny,spacious and has a relaxing vibe. I appreciated meeting Mamoura a couple days before our housesit and her attention to detail in directions for caring for Ali'i, who more than anything desired playtime. We look forward to housesitting again in the future.
Daniela and Michael warmly welcomed us with local wine and a barbecue with food from a highly recommended local butcher who we returned to on a number of occasions. Ginger and Tabby were easy to look after. They were kept in overnight and enjoyed the freedom to roam the open spaces in the morning beginning at the backdoor. There was an extensive and much appreciated list of recommended restaurants and places to visit. We enjoyed exploring the area and spent some memorable hours at the Technic Museum Speyer. Thank you, Daniela and Michael, for selecting us to care for your home and cute cats and we will certainly call in again if we are in the area.
I absolutely loved dogsitting for Bill & Emily. Their dog Hector is a big energetic sweetheart, very friendly with humans, easy to walk, loves to play fetch in the backyard, and just a wonderful good boy to spend time with. Bill & Emily‘s home is incredibly beautiful, such lovely architectural details that you’d don’t see in homes anymore, and overall very comfortable. Also conveniently located next to express trains to Manhattan. All in all a wonderful housesit!
We visited Mary prior to our sit and she told us that she was vegan. So as not to offend Mary, we took our own microwave and cooked all our food in that. But with so many places to eat out in Harrogate we ate out a lot .Caterina is a lovely little cat so easy to look after, a little shy at first but soon got used to us. The flat was very comfortable and relaxing.
Marga is the perfect host and her apartment is ever so cosy. Musas and Kami are lovely, playful kitties. They love belly rubs and lots of snuggles. Scheveningen is a fab place and I loved walking along the beach, but tbh I preferred being with those adorable kitties. Tip for the housesitter: If Musas goes missing, he may be hiding on top of the kitchen cabinets and I'd advise you to wait for him to come down. You are in for a big surprise!! :-D
We had a fantastic time house-sitting for Ros and Jon looking after their pets. Ros and Jon were very friendly and relaxed to deal with, it was lovely to meet them before they left for their holiday. The cats were very easy to look after. Django liked to sit with us, whereas Tottie kept to herself. The rabbits, Harley and Hazel, were very entertaining and easy to look after. Only the deep cleanse of the hutch took bit of extra time. The house was very comfortable to stay in and there was a lot to do in and around Lincoln. We enjoyed walking across the common to The Sycamore café nearby. We would definitely house-sit for Ros and Jon again.
